What time does it start? (Preferably in EST so I don't have to do too much math )

I hope that's AM!
I've never watched a WHL draft, always OHL and QMJHL but this year there are a couple of guys I want to see where they end up. Not the end of the world if I find out by reading draft results lol

Had to stop watching. Every time a name was about to be said, it would buffer lol

No kidding. Complete garbage.

Estephan went to Lethbridge @ #4. That's all I know.

The "real time" results arent working either.

Thought I would come here and find out what's going on.

No such luck.

Red Deer takes Adam Musil @ #6.

Prince George trades up to take Everett's pick to take Brad Morrisson @ #7.

Ye this is quite the fail. I applaud them for trying to make this an event for fans but this would just turn people off.

QMJHL surprisingly has the best draft set up.

If you pause it for a couple minutes, it will work after.

There is a guy in the Prospects thread who is tracking the draft. He missed the first four picks though.

Great advice lol went in to try it, then it went from the guy walking up to the podium then it cut to him standing there after his pick was said then it cut to him sitting there talking about his pick now it's buffering again still missed the name said.

It always buffers when the pick is being made, so you miss the name. Then it buffers as soon as the commentators repeat the name. Unbelievably timed

I like the Royals first round. Two kids with good size, and obvious top end talent for their age level.

Quote:
"We had Chaz rated as the top defenceman in the draft," Director of Scouting Garry Pochipinski said, "and to have him still available at 13 was both surprising and great news. He is big and possesses both mobility and an offensive upside. He plays a physical game and he has the potential to be a tremendous defenceman"

What do you know about chazz? He didn't appear on the mock draft that I saw, I was hoping for ty schultz or ty ronning there.

Heard nothing but good things about this kid. worked with the program of excellence this year. Big body, good skater, hard shot, has all the skills to become a top two-way defenceman in this league.

Here's a link for you: http://www.scoutreels.com/athletes/taz-burman
His numbers are impressive, mind you he does play for the North Shore Winterclub which is basically a downsized BWC. Playing against BWC and NSWC back in Peewee was terrible, you lost by at least 5 each game.
