gaborik was insane from the start of the first overtime. i really hope he can build a lot of confidence off this game.

brad richards... what else can you say? our best forward in the playoffs, the guy is at the forefront of everything.

callahan= heroic performance
lundqvist= it's good to be the king! too many words i can say right now to describe this man.

the conditioning and fitness level on this team is bar none to nobody in this league in my mind. still boggles my mind how 5 d-men pulled this off.

So ****ing mad. I worked tonight and DVRed the game... extended the DVR by 2 ****ing hours, but I only got up to 13:00 left in the 3rd OT. I missed the goal by like 20 real-time minutes.

****.

(Very happy we won)

Give Bickel some bigger 1st period minutes. Can't have McD pulling that again.

He is a good guy.

But he plays WAY too much and gives us nothing in terms of transition or offensive threat. In fact he can single handedly kill plays. He is a PK specialist, nothing more.

He should be getting 8-10 min a night. Won't happen though.

In all honesty, no way. Not unless McDonagh goes nuts the rest of the way and leads us to the Cup, in which case we'll talk about how his crazy run began with 53 overtime minutes.

Otherwise, it's just another long game in the second round. This is not the Cup Finals. The only way this game becomes memorable at all is if we win the Cup. If not, in a few years most of us won't remember it.

I remember in 1994 the Debbies and BS went to OT-4. Go ask their fans if they still remember it.

Gotta Agree 100% Tough Game but fairly officiated.

Another Big Game by Hank and the D men, Boyle taken one off the chin, Danny gets but by Hank, Mcd get clobbered by Hendrickson and these guys just keep playing solid solid Hockey. Love these guys!!!!!!

Some of you guys either have extremely short-term memory or you're just blinded by Richards' game-winning assist.

No, I'm not joking when I say he played an awful game tonight. Go back and re-watch the game if you don't believe me. He lost the puck multiple times while we were in the O-zone and made several bad decisions that led to turnovers.

I'm glad he made those sweet passes at the end of the game, but that doesn't erase the multiple errors he made on good scoring chances throughout the game.

Yep, this is truth.

Though I remember that Boston game where they went into 5OT at the old Boston garden, and the lights went out.

I also remember that Pitt/Philly game in 99 or 00 where they went to like a million OTs.

It's funny my first reaction to a call against the rangers is BS no ****ing way! But when I saw the replays I said ok man, fair call.

This post is just flat out idiocy.

The Rangers won on a sudden death goal setup by Brad Richards. Of course it makes up for everything else. Why? Because the Rangers won.

Someone needs to put Dan Girardi's face next to "hockey" in the dictionary.

This is why I WISH for a 3 or 4 goal lead sometimes. So Bickel and the 4th line can grind out some minutes.

Our D is great and young, the young part is the only reason why i believe in Torts with this 5 D strategy.
