Man I am nervous and still have a lot of time to go.
Great to hear Gagne is skating with the rookies. If ntohing else hopefully he will teach them a thing or two. Would be nice to have him on the PP.

Yep, it's nervous time again. Watching every other series be 2-1, makes me worry about the law of averages. C'mon Kings, keep being that outlier that bucks all the trends and make it 3-0 tonight. I'll take another Quick game three 1-0 shutout though.

The one thing that makes me feel a tiny bit more comfortable this time as opposed to the Vancouver game 3 is that the Canucks brought in DSedin and Schneider to change things up. The Kings had the lead when Pietro left the game and have already proven they can get pucks passed Elliott. Schnieder stood on his head all 3 games versus the Kings and still lost 2 of the games because our guy was better. There is no Halak to fall back on for the Blues. It's Elliott all the way and although he could still steal a game, there is no mystique about him with our guys trying to pick tiny spots in the net to beat him. He's not in our players heads, maybe they're in his now.

Let's make Staples the loudest building of the playoffs tonight. They deserve it.

With the Kings in the second round, I don't feel as nervous before games. Just anxious. I was terrified for the entire Vancouver series, I just don't fear the Blues offense. They don't have any game breakers that strike fear into NHL defenders.

Even if the Kings lose in the second round, I think this post-season has been great for the Kings core and rookies. They should come out next season extremely hungry.

Anyone else a little worried if the Kings win the Stanley Cup this season? I've told countless people that I don't want to die before the Kings win the Stanley Cup. So, if they do it, are we all on borrowed time?

I bet a buddy $50 that the kings would win the cup before 2050 in 2000. He took it, and I am going to hold him to it.

I actually thought about this a year or so ago and then again at the start of these playoffs. If the Kings won the Cup, I really think I would probably lose a little interest as crazy as that might sound. Being a Kings fan is like chasing the dragon. What happens if we actually catch the dragon? I hope to cross that bridge!

LOL, that is hilarious. You definitely have to hold him to it. A bet is a bet.

Wish I could be there tonight. The building is going to be rockin'.

Good luck tonight guys! First time ever watching a Kings game on tv (coverage pretty well sucks up here in Canada). Hoping for another big game from Richie!

Seems like in the home games vs Canucks the Kings just didn't pass very well. Couldn't make even the short easy ones stick to stick. I think the guys need to relax and concentrate better. They need to get past this home ice mental block also. Let the offense come naturally.

I've lived in Alberta my whole life and can honestly say coverage has got increasingly better.
The Kings radio guys do a great job. If I can't find an online stream I listen to them.
It is a lot better seeing them in HD on my TV than streaming. Love Kings Playoff Hockey

Well it's generally like if you caught a dragon you tend to have the feeling of catching more dragons hence you would want more cups

I had a different feeling than you. I felt confident playing against Vancouver. We were the better team it's just that people overrate the Canucks because well they are the Canucks. I'm more nervous playing against st Louis. It's not their offense that scare me it's their coaching and their streaky system.

There are a ton of game 3 tickets on Stub Hub right now for $60 in the 300's. Kicking myself right now but I wasn't going to chance it. I'm sure if you wait until the morning of Sunday, there will be some deals to be had.
