Franzen-Zetterberg-Eriksson
Alfredsson-Kruger-Stalberg
Silfverberg-Jarnkrok-Landeskog
Persson-Lundqvist-Pettersson
N.Kronwall-Ericsson
S.Kronwall-Karlsson
Hjalmarsson-Hedman
Enroth
Fasth
Not worried about first and third line. Hopefully Alfie can find chemistry with Kruger and Stalberg. Also I would switch Hjalmarsson and S.Kronwall.

I thought N.Kronwall was going to be an "A", but I was thinking that maybe Mårts wanted a C or A in all three top lines (?).

Alfredsson and Zetterberg were no-brainers and he said that he wanted someone from the younger generation to get the second A.

What would be best for this team? A world class center in Bäckström, or a world class goaltender in Lundqvist?
Either one of those two would make a huge difference.

Mårts will be running an umbrella setup on the powerplay. Alfie in the left circle, Z in the right circle, Erik up top. On paper, that looks like the bomb.

I like Persson but why, on gods green earth, does he get to play at the WC? He's had one good WC and that's about it. He's 33 years old to boot. Make room for the kids.

Academic question, since it will be Bäckstörm anyway.

I believe you are right, still, it's "upp till bevis" with Bäckström, especially after last years decline and injury/"injury". If he wouldn't come now though, then we'll see a fully activated rage mode among fans and media so I believe he would definitely feel the pressure to come.
Lundqvist would probably make a bigger difference. It would almost feel like cheating having a goalie like that at the WC's.. which we won't... again.
PP looking spectacular (on paper) btw..

Hard to argue against Lundqvist to be honest. He's been so evenly great this year that I think he'd make a bigger difference.
Would be damn happy with either one though.
