The way I see it, he should be gone if we lose this series.

The Devils lost and adjusted, now they are dominating us. The Flyers need to adjust too to even have a chance.

I tend to agree. They look outcoached and to lose in OT on a bad line change is just pathetic and inexcusable.

I really don't want him back. We need a coach that can put some structure into the defensive zone.

To all you people that want Laviolette gone, who would you replace him with? Ron Wilson ?

Yet again, I ask, give me your lists of available coaches who could do a better job.

So Briere says Lavi needs to adjust the PP scheme...interesting. But also said the players need to be hungrier on the PP....

Shared responsibility no doubt....just get it fixed for game 4 ....quick...

Let's start with someone who knows how to coach line changes, and go from there.

There might not be any star coaches available but I am disappointed with Lavi. In 2010 he did everything right but there were a lot of problems with him in last year's playoffs, especially concerning line matchups and this year, the team's defence has been absolutely awful. You can get away with scoring a ton of goals and winning in the regular season but in the playoffs, you need that strong team defence but he just cares about offense.

Oh gawd! That would actually be fun to watch, he would piss the media off so much in Philly. In Toronto he pretty much walked all over everyone with his arrogance and sarcasm but in Philly, they'd massacre him.

Has he changed the defense THAT MUCH since 2010? Or is it all Pronger? Or is it Timonen getting worse? WTF is the deal? This defense is atrocious!!!

That line change is on the players. Really you blame the coach on that? They have been taught that from bantam from multiple coaches. You are completely clueless when you talk hockey. I guarantee no coach would tell his team to line change when the opposing team has the puck on their stick at the blue line.

Well Terry Murray is out there......not a huge fan but good with young players, D scheme and has more offense to work with.

Just a thought..but Lavi prolly gets extended like Stevens and Hitch and maybe canned the same year like Stevens and Hitch although I said he has a year in a half in him still but after tonight I'm wondering a bit about that....

It's embarrassing, how bad they are at defending. I don't know what they work on in practice, maybe timeouts.

While Lavi is showing some kinks like last year's Boston series and I still think he's reaching his expiration date quicker..he does have a really banged up team. Pitt just gassed and decimated us. I mean the Devils played Florida..even though it went 7 it wasn't exactly a war of attrition...

Yes i'm the moron for blaming the coach for the players making the worst change they could have, on top of that they have made line changes throughout their careers. But this time the Flyers make this bad change it's all on Lavy. It's on the players on the ice to be more aware of whats going on while they are out there. And they only way Lavy can do that while in game is if he is on the ice with them, and we know that isn't happening.

Like someone else said, you hate Lavy, provide a list of coaches more suitable for the job. Every time you ***** about him you fail to mention any replacements

Typical ****ing knee jerk reaction around this place of course though.

The two biggest problems were guys not playing hard enough, and players not change at the proper time. Not exactly the coach's fault. Of course this is coming from a guy who though John Stevens was a good coach.

It's put up or shut up time, JXC. The question that was asked was:

To all you people that want Laviolette gone, who would you replace him with?

And your retort is the above line - it's sad and pathetic. You talk crap, but when it comes time to back it up, you tuck your tail between your legs. You sir are a loser.

Don't hold your breath on a response to that. I've been waiting since 2009 for him to give me any reason why John Stevens was a good coach and the Flyers should keep him.
