I can't find it on NBC Sports or NHL Network. Maybe they haven't added it yet?

Thats a good point. I'll probably just stay awake, but need something to keep me awake that long before the game comes on. Don't wanna watch the NHL Network's crap over and over for hours.

France has Huet, Auvitu, Bertrand, da Costa, Meunier and Bellemare, so this game is going to be tight one. 5-2 to USA, last goal is EN.

Go France!

Okay, so I'll just go to bed after the Barons-Rampage game, get up at 4:15, watch the game and be ready to go to work at 7, no problem, just like old times... I say it'll be 1-1 through two periods, then the French will run out of steam and it'll finish 4-1.

You east coasters are lucky. 5AM is a time to wake up. It's 2 AM by the time it comes on over here in Cali, a time where one usually sleeps. Should I stay up...?

I much rather be in your position. I'm on the east coast and I'm staying up. About five more hours to go.

Auvitu sometimes looks like poor man's Sami Vatanen but with no offense. Will join the attack.

Our team (on paper) looks God awful. Two Red Wings though, so that's nice.

So Lasch at second line? good choice for coaching staff to check how he will do in the role... the little guy will fly in the big ice and with the experience he has of it.

It's rough. Definitely have new respect for what fans are doing overseas.

Wow, def gonna watch how hes doing there and can he impress the americans who have probably pretty low expectations for him... Ofcourse this game is not a real test for him or the team, but still.

I respect all fans who watch this at 2am because its clear that you win (or am I being ignorant for france, i got to admit atleast that I dont really know them). I would do the same with team Finland, thought and did in 2008 when it was in Halifax I think.

well a decent 2nd line center would've been nice wouldn't it?!
big fan of the d-corp + goalie/s though

apart from that .. like always and every year GO USA !!!

ps: and regarding the game time I just can say: now suffer a bit yourself over there. Like us European hockey heads walking the continent like zombies comes play off time hehe

Since I'm still up, might as well watch this live. So this is what it must feel like for the European fans who watch the NHL. Yikes.

I don't think USA will have a problem with France. I made a bet for USA:

USA - France (+3) 2.35 5.05 2.00

Don't disappoint me now USA!

Waking up earlier in the morning isn't that bad, because you can go to work/wherever after that. Usually the NHL games start at 7pm ET, which is 2am in Finland. It's the worst time possible: there's no time to properly sleep before or after the game. West coast games often start at 5am Finnish time (EET), which is not bad: watch the game and then go to work.

Its geoblocked in most hockey countries (not in canada!). But with some kinda of proxy it should work.
