UPDATE: Surgery schedule in post #56 (released May 19)

From what I hear & see, it looks like

Giroux, Jagr, and Hartnell are banged up & trying to play thru it.
My suspicions are:
Giroux> concussion or PCS?? (just looks out of it)
Hartnell >something upper body (0 drive or aggressiveness)
Jagr> groin/back

Anyone have any other info?

Timmonen - His entire body, but he's a beast so it's okay.

Yea, I left out Timonen because I don't see a specific injury but I suspect its his back..
One thing is that he's being completely exposed.
Very very slow & somewhat stiff out there, not fluid at all.

Yea I saw where Hartnell blocked a shot with his foot, but he looked somewhat off prior to that.... We need to see the Hartnell that the other team hates, gets in the goalies face, starts scrumbs etc..

Haven't seen that aspect of his game at all..

Ankle? It's obviously his hand/wrist that's bothering him. He wasn't taking faceoffs last night and he got slashed on his hand again in the 3rd period and OT.

Jagr's clearly hurt. He can still move, but every time the puck's on his stick, something goes wrong. It's like he forgot how to skate and stickhandle at the same time.

If he's back next year, it's going to be really hard for me to be a fan of this team

without question, he is my most hated Flyers ever

I agree. He will not be back next year. He will cost to much to keep. Someone will over pay for him. Heck maybe we can move him to a team who wants him for a pick!

Does anyone else think Simmonds is injured? I can't remember the last time he lost this many board battles and has been this non-physical.

i thought injuries werent an excuse. At least they havent been in past years around here.
anyway I am guessing this

Giroux=groin
Jagr=groin
Hartnell=foot
Timonen=everything
Bryz=foot, brain lock
Grossman=feeling effects of the concussion

It's the playoffs, every team has injuries. The good teams seperate from the pretenders by battling through injury.

Sure its fun to acknowledge it, but have you ever heard a team that won something say "Oh and BTW, here is our 'Suspected' injury list......?

Injuries are only an excuse if the player is well liked, to the point where we just assume he (giroux) is injured and allow it to be acceptable. However, when someone has documented injuries (like recovering from two broken feet for example) he's a heartless stiff who chokes in the playoffs.

Just sayin...

The good teams are also those who are less injured than the rest.

dunno, but he's not a good stick handler, which in this series is killing us. Every time the puck goes to him on the PP he seems to turn it over under pressure.

This.

It's easy to talk a lot of macho crap about how the best teams play through it but sometimes bad luck with harsh injuries can just debilitate a team that with just one fewer injury or one fully healthy star might have been able to win.

I just prey that this organization has not been stupid enough to overlook the possibility of a concussion re: Couts and G, because of a blood thirsty desire to win a cup this year. That would be remarkably idiotic and short-sighted thinking.

loled at carle's "injury"

I don't think Jagr is hurt.. he seemed very positive about his performance in playoffs he said something like " i didn't do well, but my time will come "

but something is obviously wrong, just look at his performance at begining of season, what he still could do with puck, he doesn't do anything of it now

Hartnell career season but dissapeared in wrong time, possible injury yes.
Simmonds same story, he was like a mad bull, destroying everyone, scoring goals..

let's not talk about Bryzgalov, where is the "double-in-a-row-star-of -the-week" .. lost in universe again

i know im not proper fan, but i don't see us going through NJ, but i still hope in opposite and will watch.
