Ruutu

Called for diving twice through two periods tonight....

Apparently this guy has no pride
(Still a very good agitator)

Is the NHL still enforcing the $1K fine for divers??

I must say, he's making a good campaign push for the diving award tonight.

he's dirty, cheap, he dives, everybody hates him, and he'll spare no expense to gain an edge. God bless him.

An agitator has no room for pride.

There has been a lot of diving in this game Tucker and Sundin specifically on other occassions.

I've been listening to it on the Radio (I'm a closet Nucks fan ), and it sounds like Sundin really hit the floor, he's such a big guy, who would have thought D.S. could take him down so easily?

Was the Chubarov hit really bad?

yeah, Tuomo is the one with 2 ELBOWING (not diving) penalties tonight. One which resulted in a Flames PP goal.... another horrible game by Tuomo

exactly what impressed you about Tuomo tonight? his "physical play"??please............ it was obvious tonight he was trying to overcompensate for his lack of offensive skills by trying to hit everything in sight. The problem is that he doesn't even know how to deliver a legit NHL hit yet. As long as his skates leave the ice and he gets his gloves up in the other guy's face, he'll continue to get called for charging and elbowing.

it was also obvious tonight that the Flames players were getting under Ruutu's skin and not vice versa.

Do we have to make a thread over every dive?

Normally I would agree with you, but Ruutu's "performance" tonight was so spectacular I think it merits its own thread. Notice though, that since this isn't some teams superstar this thread is way more tame than any of the others that have been started recently.

Tucker dove at least twice, Sundin dove. No threads on that? Ruutu dives, everybody knows this. We don't need a thread on it.
