Craigslist

Look at Craigslist if you are looking for tickets. You can buy from season ticket holders and they can email them to you. They are sometimes cheaper than Stubhub and no fees.

Yes sir. Belfast. I move around a lot though, but I always spend at least 3 months in NYC and 4 months in Belfast every year. Work is a mother ****er. What part of this great country are you coming to?

Dublin for a day or two and then one or two day trips somewhere from Dublin.

I like to remind them that not only have they never won a cup, but in their one appearance in the finals they were swept, so they have never even won a game in the finals.

Those of you that are headed down, are you taking the BOLT Bus tomorrow morning?

I am still considering going if I can find a friend to make the trip with me.

You'll just be telling them something they don't know.

Same here, I'm trying to get my friend to go. Problem is, she doesn't give a **** about hockey so it would be $100 down the drain.

Caps' attendance figures from the past 10 seasons:

2011-2012: 12/30 teams
2010-2011: 10/30 teams
2009-2010: 11/30 teams
2008-2009: 13/30 teams
2007-2008: 24/30 teams
2006-2007: 27/30 teams
2005-2006: 28/30 teams
2003-2004: 25/30 teams
2002-2003: 18/30 teams
2001-2002: 13/30 teams
2000-2001: 18/30 teams

Outside of four lean seasons, attendance has been pretty decent to average for a long time.

I was a Rangers season ticket holder for many years when I was living in Manhattan. Have you been to a Rangers game at MSG before? Loud, passionate fans for sure. But a LOT of bandwagoning fans. Central location, easy to get to via public transportation.

I know you do not speak for the Rangers fans on HFB, but geez, just enjoy the game. No need to put down fanbases.
Their problem is that the majority of the fans who were going in the early 2000's are NOT the same fans who are attending now.

Those fans were basically told, pony up for season tickets, but we're going to purposely suck, for the chance of drafting better. Leonsis drove off fans who had been loyal for over 20 years because he couldn't "compete" and needed the lockout to "teach teams like the Rangers a lesson".

I don't even consider the pre-lockout Capitals as a team. I look at them as a typical annoying expansion market. That's what Leonsis wanted. That's what he got.

When I went to a game in DC in 09, I actually had a Caps fan tell me they've won a cup before.

Its a discount bus company. They run from NY to DC starting at 1$ (but thats only when you buy it months in advance). Right now the tickets are probably like 25$ one way since its the day before.

So it'd be like $50 round trip? That's enticing, especially with tickets to the game being so cheap. But the bus would have to leave like 4 or 5am to make the game, no?

Is anybody still trying to go for tomorrow?
Thinking of going or waiting until (if) there is a game 6.

Wow this is tempting...so (relatively) cheap.
