We were better defensively when he was recovering from his shin boo boo.
I remember when Hal started his stint with the Habs, he played awful hockey for about a month and he looked like a really bad signing. He then sat out for a while with a foot/ankle injury and came back a few weeks later and it seemed like his game had transformed and he become a key piece of our blueline.
Maybe his injury isn't as healed as he/the team say it is or maybe he has aggravated something or picked up a new injury. Heopfully he rediscovers his form soon.
There are six Preds with more SOG in the 40mins of this game than Radulov has in the series.
Hornqvist with a post and a missed open side of the net ... Fisher with a couple of near misses ... we're doing 95% of the things right, just can't bury the damned thing. Frustrating.
Drinking more to help the team.
Amen. I'm nervous as hell though; we need to score in the first 10 mins because we're going to get caught at some point being aggressive and PHX is going to counter with a game ending goal.
sorry we played better that period but didn't own the period. we have a ways to go. we are better than phoenix .. just not showing any heart except a few. they have to want it. scoring goals in the NHL is not an easy task no matter if you are jamie allison or wayne gretzky ..
come on boys!! we win 2-1 in regulation . goals from bourque and wilson in no order
Yes, but we are not finishing. Horny missed 5 just by himself. I didn't like the fact that Trotz announced to everyone that our plan was to play the same squad because we won last game. We need to score. I don't feel like its going to happen this game.
This same squad scored two against Smith ... that's what the Hawks averaged. What do you think... Radulov of the one SOG and AK should play?

check my post history lol... I dont ever want to see them on the ice for us again. trotz will get criticism for the decision but everyone was praising it earlier today. in hindsight...
need to make a beer run. if we can't score a goal, at least ill be too drunk too care (i think?)
On a gift and a fortunate bounce. If Phoenix is making those mistakes, we're not capitalizing. I think they're going to play to minimize those mistakes in the third.
It's basically going to look like us holding on for dear life against Detroit or Chicago... I fear we might end up with a similar result.

Radulov created tons of chances in game 1 and was one of our best players vs Detroit and is leading our team in scoring. He had a bad game 2 but so did plenty of our players .
If we get shutout this game, Trotz should rightfully take a lot of heat. Our ability to score is the biggest reason we've lost in playoffs past. Our two best finishers are sitting on the bench and we're watching Brandon freakin Yip on the powerplay.
Hoping a couple guys break through. But Radulov should be in next game regardless.
It's 9:30am in the morning but if drinking will help the team score I'm down, here's what I've got in the cabinet: (Sadly no Jack) Whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, tequila.

My issue is with Trotz' strategy. How about not telling which crew you gonna put on ice for game 4. I don't understand the fact that he let everyone know he won't play Rads or AK. Let the Yotes try to figure out how to play. Instead, he announced he would play the same team as in game 3. I would have not played Tootoo and put either AK or Rads instead. I'm sure the other team takes either one of those two more seriously (see: allocating more resources) than Toots.

Similar chances tonight ... and Hornqvist misses the net. Deflections on net and we aren't worried about coming back in the 3rd. 36 shot attempts ... Fish missing the corner high stick a few times ... Horny wide right often enough to get a kicking job in Buffalo.

IT WAS ANNOUNCED BEFORE GAME THREE IF WE WON THOSE TWO WOULD SIT!!!!!
The Kings haven't changed their lineup once. The Yotes didn't change their squad. We got beat on the boards on one play and it's costing us.
