For those that agree with the increase, there is a public manifestation on Monday May 7th to support the increase. Come if you want. I'm attending, maybe we can all meet up and go together. Promoting the green square. You can join the FB group.

It would be sad if "les rouges" didn't let other people voice their opinion. I'm going anyway. People shouldn't stay quiet if they support the increase. It makes it seem as though the entire province supports the strikes against the increase.

I think the students should go back to school and allow negociation between both parties. If no agreement, they can go on strike again the next semester!

These protests are beyond ridiculous at this point and should simply cease. Condemning violence is all fine and dandy, but if you don't have control over your protests anymore, you stop them. What is happening is simply unacceptable.
I don't see why they can't continue to talk about things while still attending class.

while I get what you're saying, they cant, they're too deep in...
problem is, they made WAY too many mistakes for them to gain anything of significance...
their insulting call for a "quebec spring" (seriously, they didnt know people died during the "Arabic spring" or what ?), their retarded "we'll give back to society eventually" comments, blocking access to bridge(s) to workers, their refusal to condemn violent acts...
it's all costing them right now, and unfortunately for us, as I predicted in part-whatever of this thread... it will get Charest re-elected.

That would involve having to do work. And if there's anything these stupid protesters hate, it's doing any kind of work at all.
Why should they study for school, or work to pay for their education when they can spend 3 months damaging buildings, causing trouble, and preventing others from crossing bridges, and entering their workplace? Unemployed students should be given everything, don't you know that?
