Honestly, during the playoffs, I don't think any team takes an opposing team's injury report seriously. They all lie. A player could have been shot overnight but would be "day-to-day" with an upper-body injury.
Yeah, I don't know, I though he played really solid in game 3, except for two awful plays (Kovalchuk's goal and that turnover that would've turned into a breakaway had it not been for an offside). I can't really compare, because I haven't seen regular season games with him in the line-up, but maybe you're just expecting too much of him.
