74-27 is amazing. That was a full minute of dzone time without a sog allowed.

Anyone get the feeling that we were fighting fate's attempt to give NY a late goal?

Alex Ovechkin goal. Looks like it deflected up off Chris Kreider

ugh, be nice if the score reflected the play here. bad enough that the caps usually only score 1 goal, but to not have more when theyre carrying the play so much...

hard to believe the chim-19-semin line doesnt have more to show for their efforts.

I thought Schultz had a great period. If he keeps that up the Caps are in great shape going forward on the back end.

Gotta get more shots high. lundqvist's pads will eat up all the low stuff.

Other than that, pretty much perfection.

Yeah coordinating D pinches with forwards leaning back is something I've been waiting for. Could it be that they get it? I don't mind a Green or Carlson carrying the puck deep or moving forward to keep puck possession but forwards need to be on the same page.

Great! Pressure all period - get one goal. Pressure for 2 mins - get one goal. So ineffective from Caps.
