Suter is a bigger risk than Weber, right now anyways. This is THEIR year so I would be FUMING if I was Poile.

I get the two mixed. Ya I don't see good things for nashville in the future.

If trotz became available do you think we would go after him?

Pacioretty is looking pretty good playing for the Americans against Canada. It's on TSN now, 1st intermission is where the game is at now.

Slater is UFA and I hope we can sign him although I don't see him leaving Winnipeg.

How did the Caps lose to Montreal in the playoffs? I know Halak was great, but did he really play better than Lundqvist? The Blues fans must hate Jackman.

Hunter really is a good coach for that team. Has the balls to sit ovi for most of the game. I laugh when people call him a horrible coach.

There's nothing that will excuse bad match ups.

Benching players is about the easiest thing to do. Not sure how that qualifies him as a good coach.

Cunneyworth was pretty good at benching players too, just ask Eller.

I agree with what you are saying but technically they weren't suspended again, only scratched.

What are the line matches this game that you don't like?

Canada loses to the US on the PK in overtime thanks to Tavares.

Honorary mention goes to Cam Ward who was weak on at least two US goals.

Caps just got extremely lucky there... Should have been a delay of game.

Why? I'm pretty sure the rule is the puck must be shot out of play. That deflected off Knuble's hand, he didn't pick it up and throw it.

"When any player, while in his defending zone, shoots or bats (using his hand or his stick) the puck directly (non-deflected) out of the playing surface, except where there is no glass, a penalty shall be assessed for delaying the game. When the puck is shot into the players’ bench, the penalty will not apply. When the puck is shot over the glass ‘behind’ the players’ bench, the penalty will be assessed."

That's from the rules, so it definitely should have been a penalty.

How has Pacioretty looked?

I don't really care about Canada, with PK and Price not playing.

Poor Ian Cole. He's clearly not ready yet. I feel like he's being thrown to the Wolves.
