The tickets have been priced at a few hundred each, iirc. Its still about 130 for upper level and over 400 for lower bowl.

Here is the thread on the ticket prices. http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1093667

Cheapest tickets to Team Finland's games in Helsinki are over 200$.

In Sweden they've reduced the prices of some tickets now, but in Finland they keep insisting that almost all of the matches are sold out, and that the arena's been full.

SWE-CZE is on. Both Larsson and Brodin appear to be playing. Franzen just made it 1-0.

130? For UPPER LEVEL?

Yeah, no way in hell.

That is absolutely terrible. I'm guessing someone is going to lose their job.

I won't promise anything, since it's more like the game is running in the background while I'm doing other things. In fact, I'm just planning to go to sauna now.

Brodin looks so mature. Skating is so natural and makes great first passes...

Have not noticed Larsson much yet.

Brodin just had a chance from the blueline and shot it into the shin guards....

The offensive game will take some time...he is very good at following the play, supporting, and finding open space. His shot is just not very strong yet. Defensively, just as I saw at the WJC...great gap coverage, great stick, and awesome first pass.

No, the sad thing is that the person who should lose his job will never lose it. Kalervo "The Iron Chancellor" Kummola, that is.

2-0.

E: N. Kronwall assisted by Zetterberg.

Hedman just wrecked the boards by tackling Hemsky into them

SWE goalie just made a dumb play so that the Czechs score...Brodin was on ice...not sure about Larsson but not indicative of their play.

That was terrible by the SWE goalie.

I'm not ever sure who he would be trying to pass to.

Persson makes it 3-1. Brodin might've gotten an assist.

E: Nope, guided in by Joel Lundqvist. Otherwise Larsson would've gotten an assist.

Larsson and Brodin just setup a SWE goal.

Good play by Larsson, ive been a little dissapointed with him so far today but he played well there.

Larsson looks like a player that needs the puck on his stick to be effective.

Don't think Brodin will get an assist but he helped make the play (it was a deflected shot).

Oh, I was mistaken. Larsson got on the score sheet with a secondary assist from the 3-1 goal. The game ended 4-1, and it seems Larsson's line scored the last goal too.

Well, sounds good to me. Hopefully I can see a replay later. I was able to catch a couple games overnight off tapes.

Brodin played 18:20 in his Worlds debut. Got some good reviews from his team mates aswell..

Marts(coach): "He's so calm och was doing very well. He's a big player. Too bad he will be gone [to the NHL] if he gets to play a lot here. We'll have to hide him somewhere."

Kronwall: "It's impressive. You could see it already at the first practice that he will be a very special player. He feels like a new Kenny Jonsson, not a mistake and he always comes out with the puck. He takes the right decisions. We'll see a lot more of him in the future. His hockey sense is better than most others."

Alfredsson: "Fun to watch Brodin, I've never seen him play before. He's 18 years old and steps in and plays this good. It's impressive."
