Anybody here read this book? It's a really good read and it's interesting to see how things went south real fast between Bobby Hull and the Hawks organization. Plus all his personal battles on and off the ice. After his playing days Hull at one point at time was really lobbying and pushing for the Hawks to take a look at Brett and draft him but becuase of all the tension between Pulford and Bobby they never bothered to entertain that idea or help him out. Instead Calgary drafts him in the 6th round and of course we all know what he did in St.Louis. Can you have imagined Savard or Roenick with Hull, and carrying on a great tradition like his dad in a Hawks uni.
I also didn't know as ambassadors how much those guys got paid. Hull has gotten at least 6 figures at one time for making those appearances at games, signings etc.
