Meh, not the best period but no damage. Just knock it out and bring it home in the 3rd.

As long as the Kings come out for the third with the same type of desperation, which I think they will, I don't see this heading back to St. Louis.
I was completely expecting this. Kings do not want any mistakes at this point.
Blues are going to bring it in the 3rd if they want a shot at going home and playing Hockey not golf.
Expect it.

It seemed that once the Kings started taking penalties, they lost their mojo and got the Blues back into the game.
Win the period, win the series!

Forced his way out of Montreal because he wanted them to choose him over Patrick Roy, I believe.
20 more minutes, folks. Enjoy it.

I hope you are right, but the kings are just terrible in the afternoon.
No excuses with 20 minutes left. All the kings need to do is get a tie in the third and they advance. Richards needs to get in the game. Didn't notice him at all in the second.

Rough period, but awesome job by the Kings to shut it down and not allow a goal. 20 very very very long minutes to go.

I notice when there are lots of penalties the line rotation gets messy and the energy goes down. The top lines will feed off of line 4 mucking it up and getting their own chances.

I saw Richards screw up a two on one. I saw carter turn the puck over.
Penner was good. Not much he can do with no line mates. Richards and carter are night people.

That wasn't a good period but I'm not worried that it's an afternoon game. That didn't stop the Kings from controlling the play in the 1st. A few fumbled chances could have easily been Kings goals. I just haven't seen anything in these playoffs to make me think the team won't be ready for the 3rd.

That two on one was brutal! Richards is usually good with those situations! Afternoon games!

These guys are paid too much to use afternoon games as an excuse. The Kings are doing well to keep the puck out of their own net first of all, now let's just clean up the turnovers and poor puck management decisions that showed up in the 2nd.

Nice start for the third for the Blues, but we can control them. I have confidence that they will pull this off today.
All the games can't be pretty, as long as we turn them all into wins.
Lol thank god post.
