They are loosing in this series by failing to adjust. They are outcoached, outsmarted and subsequently outplayed.
The amount of giveaways by the D through the neutral zone... leading to a lack of breakouts, sure is not helping though. Mez, Pronger and a fully functioning Kimmo would sure rectify that.
Though they are not fit... so it is really inconsequential.
Am I the only person that isn't angry? I mean, if anything I just hope this is a wake up call to Homer on getting us better, and more stable defense. With Bryz looking great with crap D, I think the whole goalie debate is done. We have forwards that can score like crazy (just not right now they aren't). Come up with better plans and a hopefully a better system.

team probably blew it's emotional load beating the Pens, good thing is the youngin's are only going to learn from this, just hope there isn't a mass sophomore slump next year

I know, but the chances of winning 3 straight against the Devs is kind of very low . I just don't feel mad for some reason. I didn't go see the movie, but I do have other things to keep me occupied, like play co-op Titan Quest with a friend and I discovered the show Lost Girl.
I think this is what happens when you have to score 4 goals a game to win it. Bryzgalov looked very good today, but the defense definitely needs to improve. You guys miss Pronger a lot. The offense can be great, but even an All Star Team cannot consistently score 4 goals.
Devils are totally overplaying us... We just cant adjust to their game and call me fool but we need Rinaldo to start next game. We just cant play this kind of games and Zac would totally kick this up (doesnt matter if he gets game misconduct in the 1st).
I will say, even if you do try to blame the coach, you can't blame some of the players for being completely invisible. The lack of effort and the ability to **** up is way more on the player side, especially when they have the puck. However, when dealing with the pressure and getting in and out of zones to counteract what is going on, that is on the coaching side.
I am not giving up hope yet but its not looking good right now. The Devils are just a better team so far this series, Flyers defense is way to banged up and it really shows right now.
Even if they do go out next game it has been a pretty awesome season and the Flyers have a lot of young talent moving forward. If they can get a few good defensemen next year they will be back and better prepared.
Still 3 games to go hopefully though! They have come back from 3-0 before, you never know what can happen
Improving the D, is getting fwds that have some idea how to play it. Couple forwards are gonna get shipped out that will piss people off, but it has to be done to improve the team D.
