Well holy ****, guess what a lot of people were saying when the organization traded away the 2 best defensive forwards on the team.
This isn't unexpected.

I'm surprised the Devils do this to the Flyers, mainly because how incrdible mediocre they've looked against the Panthers, but some team was bound to give them trouble.

Pronger injury has been huge. Remember how BAD our PP became without him, you could tell it dropped by 50% just like that, and lets not talk about defence overall. He is also captain and team leader, i think his loss is underrated

All post game interviews have the same things and same tone. They don't have an answer. They have been emotionally frustrated. Only chance is Mez comes back and sparks things. Something has to change. Ronaldo and mez could be that

I don't think it is underrated at all. If the Flyers still had Pronger and Mez I think they would be the best team in the NHL. He would have made things a lot easier on Bryz this season too.

You boys need to implement a neutral zone trap. TRAP TRAP TRAP.

Got to protect your Dmen because the Devils are getting to them big time. Might be too late anyways.

Come on man, seriously. Do you really think that Lavi and the coaches aren't trying to make changes???? REALLY????

Maybe the ****ing players aren't adapting or implementing the changes properly. Maybe, JUST MAYBE?

Too much lazy play and defense that can't skate. Kimmo has no game left.

I think there are WAY more injuries than we know of, and supposedly Kimmo has been playing with one the whole series.

Its really not our defense. Its that the forwards don't know what to do in our own end.

Yea, I think he's been very hurt for a while. We've had to depend on him too much this year.

Yep, heading up ice for a rush...that is what DB does best.

Dude can score goals, but when we have many other substandard defenders at forward we can't mask this guy.

Losing to a division rival hurts. Losing to the Penguins would have been horrible. I know many Penguins fans personally and that loss to the Flyers killed them. Those cups they won don't help that pain.

If we lose to the Devils, the one comfort is "at least we beat the crap out of the Penguins". That felt really good, and is at least something I can take away from the season.

That being said, Flyers win 3 in a row to take this series, beat Rangers in 6, then take down LA in 7.

I blame myself...

1st series when we lost 2 in a row I shaved from a full beard to a circle beard.

Did the same this series... but left the sideburns as well, should have kept the consistency.

Looking at the positives.

1. Not over yet.

2. If the Flyers are knocked out, we get 23rd overall pick... that, in this draft, could be a damn good D man.

3. If the Flyers are knocked out, I can get to bed before 4.30 in the morning.

4. If the Flyers are knocked out, I can shave my beard... had a beard of some sort since last February, (apart from the first few days of playoffs ofc) but for some reason, in last few weeks have wanted to get rid of it completely.

Ditto. If Hunter could have turned Caps' forwards around, I cease to understand Lavi's lack of adjustments. Our forwards are playing a casual defence rather than system (like other teams remaining in the PO).
