I guess Bryzgalov has seen a lot more bad bounces, deflections, defensive breakdowns, perfect shots then any other playoff goalie combined.
oh well it happens. Not Bryzgalov's fault. Little to nothing is.

Of course it is either one of the NHL's most expensive defenses' fault or the system which already won a Stanley Cup's fault.
No goalie could save this team the way their playing. You have to play patient hockey with maybe even a "slight" amount of defense to win in the playoffs. the Flyers don't do that. You've been wrong and are wrong about Bryzgalov. The way we play defense its a miracle you got that run in march out of Bryz. This is not his fault. You are blind.

Yep. He's played well enough to win this series. NJD has a better fore check. This team has no idea what to do when the puck is in our end. On NJD goal 3 tonight Briere's man is Zubrus...the puck goes into the corner and Timonen doesn't succeed in getting it out. Briere is already heading up ice, Zubrus is going to the net...goal.
We cannot have forwards that play like this and expect to win.

And I see why Henrique got the Calder nod.
thats the system we play . I like laviolette though. i think he's a great coach but we just went through too much injury wise and we have some guys that still need to fill out a lot. It really isn't as painful as the thought of the Kings winning the cup this year. I will seriously root for the league against them at this point. It will be too much for me to handle watching more of our guys go and win somewhere else. I seriously can't take that thought let alone reality. horrible. Please God NO!

Heh, I know how you feel, I'm not excited about Richards and Carter winning. Gags, would be great to see... I was very happy for Brind'amour.
Its not just the system, the same repeat offenders seem to give up bad play (Carle, Briere).
Bryz has been the best Flyer in this series and it's not even close.
Agreed. It's Bryz by a long shot, followed by Talbot, and maybe Coburn 3rd?

NY, LA or Phx handles NJ.

I'm not so sure. Their work ethic is incredible. Their system is incredible. A 3 man high pressure forecheck on offense, and 5 man high pressure defense...the only way to beat it is effort. A lot like LA's series, StL knew they needed more effort to win, they just couldn't find it. Flyers are saying the same thing after every game...not finding it.

Talbot doesn't seem that noticeable to me...Coburn does however....I like Schenn's effort minus the brain fart change...
Bryz is good: skaters must suck
Skaters are good: Bryz must suck
I don't know which hockey god we have to sacrifice a chicken to so we can get "Bryz is good: skaters are good." Hopefully Holmgren and Lavi have people working in shifts round the clock to figure it out.
