I don't have a problem with it. Welcome aboard the kings bandwagon.

although it does bugs me when non hockey fans start jumping on the bandwagon right when the kings start playing well

Anyone and everyone is welcome to follow and root for the Kings. I don't see why there should be any requirements or judgements based on when or why or how they became fans.

I was hoping the same...looks like so far, overwhelmingly everyone likes it or doesn't mind.

After YEARS of being the bandwagoner for other teams , I say welcome
for the duration , and go back and cheer for your normal team next season

( although it will be too hard for me to jump to another team IF the Kings lose in the WCF )

No Worries Mates...

Hey Flo, how's Eddy? Are the Turtles making another come - back? lol

Guys remember that thread at the Hurricane's Board done by the guy did
the comedy breakdown of the teams in the league? Now that was fun!!!

So going to other team's boards can be entertaining... so I don't really care.
We know who has bled through thick and thin with this team on these boards,
and who has not so...

Come one come all and enjoy the ride... I hope to the cup!!!
Go Kings Go!!! WCF here we come... Wooooooot!!!

Everyone is welcome. Why? A lot of bandwagoners buy merchandise and head to away games. Thus, the Kings make money and the away games fill up with fans cheering for the Kings. Win, win in my books.

I always say that I was on the bandwagon too, I just have a better seat.

The whole bandwagon thing is funny to me. Who the F cares?

Pretty much the same level of a jr high kid saying, "You're not allowed to like my core emo band because I liked them first and liked them more".

Also LOL at the "I've been a fan longer than you" people. I've been watching a pretty long time (started playing at age 4). I've gone through the ultimate bandwagon era de Wayne as a teen/kid. Was pretty cool actually as our teams got a bit more cred when we traveled, and girls would want to come to games haha

King's bandwagon faithful.

Must be nice to have this many fans wanting your team to win this early on in the playoffs. It was nice to see other fans root for the B's last year during the cup, whether it be East, anti-Nuck or whatever. Enjoy it King's fans and if you win, be prepared to take a lot of flack the next season

I know if the Kings make it to the finals versus the Devils or god forbid the Rag$ then I will try and get to one of those games. God knows I will not be seeing a Stanley Cup final anytime soon as an Islander fan with the current ownership in place.

Go Kings!!!!

Honestly, the more hockey fans in and of Los Angeles, the better. If anyone thinks otherwise, they're crazy. Want to know what will help this sport more than anything? Having kids love and want to play hockey. We've loved this team for years and we've struggled through some rough times, but that makes it even sweeter for us - let's accept them with open arms.

maybe if we had more LA bandwagon fans, we could all watch a freaking Kings game at a sports bar. I'm tired of getting dirty looks for asking if I could change the channel, of a TV nobody's using, to the Kings game. I swear, these people act like I'm asking to watch porno so I can masturbate in public.

f@@K YEA , it will take some time for them to get hooked like we are but if you went to that game yesterday and your not a kings fan, or at least a jhockey fan today you are missing a heart or possibly a soul, that was pure excitement and ended in pure joy. Got texts from friends that follow other teams and they are all into this with us, all I can say to them and all others is GO KINGS GO

That game was electric. The only thing that annoyed me was NBC in the last few minutes. Did they not have a camera that was not unobstructed by fans cheering? I could not see half the ice.

GO KINGS!!!!

Nope, the point of this poll was to gauge our collective attitudes and it's very positive

I love Dustin Brown, Jonathan Quick, and Mike Richards. I'm definitely on the Kings bandwagon for these playoffs.

Not the biggest fan of bandwagonning just like that. There is nothing wrong with saying "I like that team. Since we are out, I would prefer to see them win the Cup." I have done the same every season. But I don't go to other team's forums and act like a cheerleader. I feel that if someone can just jump around that easily, even if it's a rival, they were a bandwagon fan in first place.

For that reason I voted for the option, that is closest to my feelings: I am fine with the fans from clubs like Nashville, Phoenix etc supporting us, because I'd be supporting them as well. But fans from the "best of the bestest" Vancouver, Penguins, Detroit etc... meh. I'd prefer if they stayed with their golden franchises.

I am a Bruins fan and I just really enjoy watching the Kings play in these playoffs. Their focus reminds me a lot of the Bruins last year, and Sutter has done an excellent job. I have always watched LA from afar and wondered why they've never had long post-season success in the past.

Dustin Brown could play on the B's any day or hour of the week. Good luck and if you win the Cup, I'll be circling the date on when LA/Boston meet up next year.
