Was just thinking the same thing. You'll never hear it again in the playoffs.

Hunter owner and CEO and former GM and coach of London knights who coached MDZ briefly , Prust , Girardi in a championship season , yeah he's a helluva coach and much like Neil was in the OTT series a total disaster to play against who would step over your dead body after he killed you . Yet just like Neil magnanimous in defeat .
I'll take Hunter here any day. As Torts woukd say High Marks and that High stick by Ward was just battling

Everything else we can agree to disagree save for this point. The Rangers problem is they try to make crazy passes not the fact that they pass in of itself.

The Rangers FAR too often look for cross ice passes into the slot. That is the problem. The Rangers need to make SIMPLE, CRISP passes to the open man. Doesn't matter where they are in the zone. It doesn't have to be a complicated play. Far too often we create offense on TONS of broken plays. That is a serious problem.

This is why we signed Brad Richards.

Not just the fact that he scores a dramatic game-tying goal with 6 seconds left with the net empty. But, Richards wins 2-3 faceoffs in the final minute while we're trying to tie it and didnt panic under immense pressure. The caps collapsed around the net like wildabeasts and Richards somehow finds a way to put thr puck through Carlson's arm, off the post and in. The guy has ice in his veins.

Lots of rangers were good tonight, but Richards has been every bit impressive in these playoffs as he was years ago. I'd still like to see him use his slapshot more, but wow. What a game.

It was, but it doesn't matter. The penalty is deserved regardless of intent. He got a problem take it up with the NHL rule book.

Someone with clever video editing please make a montage of the Richards goal + staal goal with Avicii Levels going on in the background and superimpose the the play-by-play in crucial spots as the goals are scored and leading up to the play
