Sometimes your negativity kills me...but I have to agree with you here, especially with Legwand and ESPECIALLY Fisher. He's been awful. I know people will say he played well defensively, blah blah blah...that's great, but you need production from your top center to win in the playoffs.
Look at Richards tonight. Scored his 5th goal of the playoffs, on the power play, in overtime.
This team desperately needs a first-line center.
I agree that this team needs a legitimate first-line center, but it's unfair to compare Mike Fisher (a third-line center on a team with good center depth) to Brad Richards, a top line center on most teams.
Fisher definitely failed to go into that extra gear he found in the Anaheim series last year. It would be nice if we could put him down a line (or two) but replace him with someone who belongs there.
Do you think the bad hops and bounces might have anything to do with temps in Glendale and the ice conditions? Just a theory, and if that is so then maybe Phoenix is just used to the conditions as opposed to Nashville.

This is the third game we've played there, and honestly a lot of the close shots that nearly went in the puck didn't look to me like it was bouncing around because of bad conditions.
Funny that the trash goalie is shutting us out again yet our all world goalie has let in two goals he really should've had. Rinne has to make those saves. Our guys have to bury the chances they're getting.
Over 40 shot attempts so far ... none in. Too many shots into Smith's crest ... too many open nets missed ... too many chances we failed to capitalize upon so far. Not done yet, but, a very deep hole to dig out of.

It is a weak game by all Nashville players, but Weber. But I gotta say this no call on Legwand really got me thinking if the referees are neutral here. I mean come on, the guy who scored a goal is a "C" he was suppose to be covered by opponent's "C" (Legwand) who is 50 feet behind because he got tripped

im not that negative.. just speak my mind. mostly when I shouldn't lol.. pissed off right now but what can you do... nothing.
lets get ready for next season. going to be a different looking roster.. hopefully the forward corps see a shakeup. I know the defense will.

Fair enough. Maybe it's on GMDP for presenting Fisher as a first-line center then. He obviously isn't one. Just annoying that 1) he's our top line center and 2) when we traded for him all we heard about was how beast mode he is in the playoffs, but he's totally sucked this year.
We need to trade Suter's rights for Parise's rights, straight up, at the draft.
