Which Game Got You Happier?

The triple OT or the Miracle on Broadway (idk, I just thought of that)?

This one was more memorable. We were seconds from defeat and I felt like complete ****. And then...

Each win that gets us closer to the cup makes me happy.

Going down 3-2 in the series, to Washington, while we were at home and largely outplayed them, would've been crushing. In the blink of an eye we turned it upside down. Now we need to make good on it. But each win that gets us closer, each whisker on my face that gets to grow longer, makes my soul smile just a little more.

On a side note, speaking of beards, I'm thinking if we don't win in 6 (which I hope we do), that the chant to washington during game 7 should be "Grab your ra-zors! hehehe

During the season when we score in games when we're down a goal late in the third after the goalie is pulled it is always an awesome feeling. When we do that in the playoffs it's like pure ecstasy.

From feeling defeated, to getting the game winner in OT ,the drastic change of emotions certainly was insane

This one was easily more exciting. The other one was just long. This one was a largely hopeless situation where we couldn't score to save a life and suddenly we get one late in the third and one early in the OT. That was great!

This series just made our rivalry with the Craps legit. I never regarded them as real rivals like the Debbies, for instance. But we've played them in the last 3 playoffs that we've made, and this particular series looks like something from a movie, not real life.

Game 5

It was more of a last minute, demoralizing spanking of the Capitals. They were probably already thinking about going back to Verizon and winning it there. BZZZZZZ. Nope, not yet, Caps. Ha Ha Ha.

I hate the Capitals, and I saw this game as a backbreaker. Even if it goes to 7 games, I relished the way the Rangers totally outplayed the Capitals tonight.

Tonight, AINEC. 3OT was great, but there were long periods of slow play, and plenty of time to mentally prepare myself for whatever the outcome might be. Tonight's game was an emotional timebomb. It went from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs in a couple of seconds. I almost had an aneurysm.

Even though I got home from the CT Whale game with about 3 minutes left in the Rangers game, I voted for tonight's game. Just amazing to see that while still reeling off the AHL club and its dominating performance of the best team in the league.

This is one of the 3 greatest games ive ever watched. Tops is Matteau, Matteau, Matteau...second is game 7 vs the Canucks...and this is #3. #4 is game 6 vs the devils.

This was a miracle, no other way to put it.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Almost every one of our playoff games so far has been a 1 goal game.

It really doesn't get any better than game 5. The 3OT game was still amazing though.

If we win the Cup, it will make for a great documentary on the road to the Cup (and depending on how long it will take us to win again, there may be many documentaries).

  • We started out in Europe with a poor performance and slowly climbed up even as everyone was saying we were just hot.
  • We held the Pens back to win the top place in the East.
  • We had to pull off an exciting Game 7 in round 1, coming back from 3-2 deficit in the series.
  • Kershaw had to eat his own pubes.
  • We go into a series against the Craps who "had our number" and after the two games at home, we lost our home-ice by splitting the games.
  • We win a 3OT game.
  • We can't score the whole game, then we come back with 6.6 seconds to go, and then score in the OT.

This is shaping up very nicely. Al Trautwig will be able to make a living the rest of his career simply by voicing the Rangers-2012 documentaries.

I'm the first person to vote for the 3OT game solely? I understand this is the most recent game, but I want to make my point.

- This game was a game I thought could have been won in regulation. They had many scoring chances and they had the ability to score, but didn't.

- The emotional high from the goal scored by Richards to me takes away from the fact Staal scored only 2 minutes into OT. I was 100x's more excited when Richards tied it than when we won it.

- The length of the 3OT game makes it that much more instantly satisfying that they won. There were so many ups and downs during the OT's alone that made it awesome they won.

- I yelled louder when Gaborik scored than when Staal/Richards scored tonight. I feel that the Rangers carried momentum from tying it late to get the goal quickly in the OT. The Rangers had to generate so much during the 3OT game that nothing that happened prior to the period had a direct result in winning. the amount of nervous energy built up over the 2 hours of watching resulting in what happened made me not sleep that night. Tonight, I will sleep fine.

The 3 OT game was a way more intense game because Washington was actually in most of it. It was way closer than this, and obviously wayyyy longer, so IMO, its equally as epic.

Two of the greatest games ive ever seen as a Ranger fan.

I think being home factored in to a lot of this game's votes too. Absolute miracle though. Highway robbery. Love it.

Miracle on Broadway.

Not a doubt. I was watching it with my dad... who other than being my dad, is the reason that despite living within 5 mins of Philtha****ia... I've been a diehard Blueshirt my entire life.

Unforgettable game. Unforgettable moment.
