has anyone else seen him these playoffs ?
not placing blame, just wondering how he became the invisible man ?

on paper, this team should be all over NJ
who the hell burned that paper ?

go flyers...........you CAN do it
He hasn't been invisible, rather his shots from point blank have been horrible. Maybe he hasn't been hitting much, because of injury, but even a one-armed man could match Simmonds' accuracy from the slot.

Flyers, you've had an excellent season, so give it your all in front of the home crowd.

Please... Don't... Suck... Again

thankfully I will be taking my final final during this train wreck. Just play like they care, that is all I want.

Normally I would agree with you man, but from what I have seen... even if they did win one of those games, they wouldn't have deserved it with their level of play.

Look, I get all of the arguments that they didn't show up, don't deserve it, etc, but regardless of their level of play, they were in every game and could have won every game. They've been dominated in length, not in quality. If they were truly being dominated, games would be 5-0. They're not. The "low" level of play has STILL been enough to keep us in every game.

If they shape up and play the way they should, they do deserve it.

I would argue we were dominated in quality as well...

The only reason we weren't being outscored 5-0 is because of bryz...

I dunno, I really hope something changes for next game.

Bryz didn't score our goals, though. Look, sometimes you can be dominated 55 minutes, but if you come alive for those 5 and can generate, you can win. The Flyers have to capitalize on the Devils mistakes, when they make them. Yea, they're swarming the hell out of us, but what's it doing? They're outscoring us by a goal a game on average. One goal. Not 5, not even 2, and not insurmountable. We lost one game in OT, lost game 4 in a nail-biter. One lucky break, one capitalization, and it's all different. This isn't PURE domination, they're been outplaying us a majority of the game, but we're still generating enough in the minutes we have to be in contention.

And hate to say it, but Bryz is part of the team haha, so his play does count as the team's play.

I'm not saying this is going to be a cakewalk, or that they're even going to pull out another win, I'm just saying it is possible.

Oh, I am not saying we have no chance to win... I think we might take this game using G's suspension as a rallying cry, I am really worried about the series though...

If we win this game, we will win this series. I still have faith my hockey team will show up after being MIA for 3 games.

G has bailed us out so many times, now it is time for us to nut up and and bail him out.

Win or lose. Our only 2 options. Win or loooooooose.

Please win

Big games from Jagr and Couturier leads us to a 5-2 win. That would be nice.

I don't give u hope and I am definitely not ready to shave my beard. We need to play as a team to bring this series back. Play hard, and keep moving their feet while on the ice. Don't let the devils breath while out there. We need to pound the body and make them work hard ass hell for even the simplest shot.

LETS GO FLYERS!!!

This.

The fact is, the Flyers have to play a COMPLETELY different game to win this game. If they can do that, they can win the series. I can't watch tonight, and it would suck if that ****show on Sunday were the last game I got to see this year. It would suck more if the actual last game of the season were equally putrid.

So please, Flyers, go with dignity at least.

you have to lose 4 games to get knocked out. as long as there is a gae to be played, there is still hope. the flyers still have a heartbeat and only have to worry about winning tonight and earn the chance to play another day. the devils have been playing way over thier heads and tonight we bring them back to reality. I BELIEVE!!!!!! TONIGHT IS OUR NIGHT!! I BELIEVE!!!!!! TONIGHT OUR MEN IN ORANGE AND BLACK WILL MAKES US PROUD!!!!!

I have a bad feeling about this one

Our rookies are overwhelmed by the situation and our Veterans who are supposed to lead the pack have nothing left in the tank. And on top of it: no Giroux.

I just hope they can avoid a blowout by the hands of the Devils...
Devils take this 5:1.

My logic with the Pens series was as follows:

In the regular season, we beat them 4 times in 6 games. Therefore, I figured we COULD/WOULD win 4 against them.

In looking at the Devils:

- someone said we didn't lose more than 3 in a row all season wrong - is this correct?
- In 6 games vs Devs, we were 3-3. We still have two more wins to get in 6 games. From there, it's a toss up on who would win game 7.

Game 4: Lost 4-2 with an EN, so a one goal victory. Started off 2-0.

Every single game we've been in it. I know the popular thing to say is the Devils are dominating us, but not where it's mattered. It's reminding me of the Boston series from 2010, and I still believe. I bought my tickets for game 5, hoping to have a chance to see game 7.

It's not as lopsided as everyone's been acquiescing. We've been in it the whole series.
what's your definition of "in it"?

we've been badly out played since the 2nd game. We can't get any shots on net or sustained pressure for a long time. The sad part is Brodeur hasnt been good either. Every time we get a good scoring chance on him, it goes in. Unfortunately we only get 1 or 2 a game. The only reason the scores have been close is because Bryz has played pretty good

I hope we win, but if the same team shows up, it's all over

Yeah, no disrespect but none of games 2-4 were actually as close as the score.

I'll be pissed if the last game of the season is filled with them being stupid. I can't take lazy or stupid efforts. If the play their ***** off and get beat that's one thing, but if they don't show effort, or play like morons I'll be completely ****ing aggravated.
