That struck me as rather peculiar. Then it clicked. GG Pierre.

Is this an O&A shout out?

I didn't think the 4 minutes would matter given how the PP was going all night, but man, HUGE, and thankfully correct, call. Good on Pierre for recognizing the significance.

Well what about Pierre gushing nonstop about the Capitals abilities to protect the lead in the final minutes?

I love Pierre. He's passionate about hockey and he gets a little carried away, but who among us doesnt?

He's so bad but it's hilarious. So it ends up being good.

And then his worst nightmare came true! He must've been laughing after the game. I'm sure he remembers saying that. Pretty funny, really. I mean, if nothing came of it, this post would never exist and no one would even care what he said.

This series has made me like Pierre a little bit. He's not bad unless the Penguins are involved...

Emerick and Eddie-O on the other hand....they cant hide their dislike for the Rangers.

I like Pierre as an analyst.... But Eddie O is the best on this current broadcast team.... Emrick good play by play guy but can't comment on the game much in terms of analysis - not the way Eddie O. can of course.

Pierre wants to talk, and wants to be heard.

So be it.

Pierre is an ancient wizard who manipulates the common happenings of the hockey world.

So, less foreshadowing, more magical interference. At least that's the way I look at after what he said tonight.

I enjoy Pierre as well. As weird as he is and how often he can just gush over someone, he actually knows what hes talking about and can sometimes be pretty insightful.

I don't understand the hate for Pierre. He's not my favorite, but he's not horrible either. He's just.....Pierre. So what if he's a little weird? As long as he's not licking you, what's the harm?

Olczyk is the one I can't stand

My dislike for Pierre might be just because Emrick is on the same broadcast. I haven't minded him at all during the NJ/Philly games he has been working with Kenny Albert.

Pierre needs his ball gag and leather suit put on and put back in his box on his chain .
Screw that big star jock sniffer he's the worst . He brings a tiger beat mentality to every broadcast

Pierre is a moron. There's a reason he's no longer part of a teams front office.

He's clueless.

If I never heard from him again I wouldn't miss it.

I lump him in with Chico as two of the most idiotic voices on tv
