DVR. I don't watch ANY commercials. I start watching the game ~1 hour after the scheduled start. Then, by the time the game is over, i've caught up to it. I get to skip all the commercials, and all the intermission crap i have no interest in watching.

So, i have no clue what commercial you are talking about. *shrugs*

What a game..I'm glad I decided to watch this on demand as I'd never would be able to get my pulse down to get any sleep before heading to work. The win was well deserved, but damn it is hard watching those last minutes just fly away.

Agreed. It is a perfect screen, AA should get some credit for that goal, for sure.

I DVR and don't watch any commercials either.... In fact I watched every single regular season game & playoffs this season and have only had to sit through a full broadcast with commercials once.

Once you go 'no-commercials' you never go back.

Some member asked if anyone read any claims on the Caps board about the post wining us the game.
Most of the whining about the "10000" posts we had in the series comes from the NJ board. (including other laughable "claims"). Fun to read the threads though.

For me, last's night win was more emotional than the 3rd OT win.
What say you ?

Phi would be the better match up as fsr as winning but if NY and NJ advance it would be pretty nuts

Despite the current "good form" of the Devils, we can definitely put them down. ('94 & '97)
And, keep them at an obscure Tri-state team status.

After almost two complete games in one night I was <almost> too tired to get emotional.

Last night did rock though. Completely unexpected, which is why I would say it was better than the 3OT game.

If we end up going to the finals we're going to have one hell of a long road trip to start the season.

I think its a travesty the NHL doesn't allow local sports networks to carry games. That game is a classic, and its ruined forever by Doc Emrick and "5th Line" Eddie.

I don't think the Rangers are lucky. They are just opportunistic. Painfully, painfully painfully opportunistic. They shouldnt "thank" the fans for supporting them. They should thank us for surviving 80-plus coronaries a year. They owe us these wins.

we need to come out tomorrow night just as we came out last night.

I want to end this in 6 and not leave it to a 7th game.

Put two behind the Caps ear, get out the shovel and lime. Call it a day.

What a finish!!!

With 2 min left in regulation I prayed for a miracle!!!

Very annoying that Emerik keep calling Hagelin Anisimov. I mean c'mon - it's not even during the change - Richards and Gaborik were on the ice as well and how difficult is it to recognize a player who's supposed to be on this line?

Speaking of Anisimov - it's too bad that hockeyrodent has turned into a hater. I know he's still has hard time accepting that Prucha was a bust in the NHL after... what 6 years already, so he chose Artem as a target for his trashing. What a joke - there are other players who had weaker performances last night, or this series, or this play-offs but he needs to single out Anisimov.

Ovechkin seemed pretty dejected during his post game interview which was seriously contrasted with D. Hunter. Hunter's been through it all before while Ovechkin I'm sure is reminded of past Caps failures in recent years.

Let's get it done tomorrow!!!

One of the most amazing comebacks I've personally seen. From the anger of the final 15 minutes to the sheer rush of jubilation and disbelief to ever more excitement. I must say I was extremely worried that we were done but the fact they pulled it off shows how hard this team goes.

I really just hope they find a way to win this so we don't have to deal with another game 7.

Great game boys, enjoy it for a little today and go back to work.

They wear #62 & #42, and they both tuck the back of their jerseys into their pants. Since Torts likes to jumble his lines, it can get confusing at times.

To be fair Emerick is much worse than Sam with names. Numerous times he confused Gaborik, Fedotenko, and Kreider. Staal an Richards were confused multiple times.

But I digress, not to turn this into a Doc Emerick thread.

Emrick also always mixes up Richards, Gaborik, and Staal. 19, 10, 18. I guess I can see it, although Staal is much bigger than both of them.
