I hope they win for Giroux's sake, otherwise he's going to feel horrible all summer. Also, it may be Kimmo's last game if he decides to retire

Bryz has to steal us a game. No more excuses, the season is on the line. He's played solid, but he's yet to steal us a game. That's what he was brought here to do, and if there ever was a time, it's now.

Other than that, the Vets like Briere, Hartnell, Jagr, and Timonen have to lead this team tonight. One game at a time.

Yeah. Well, I mean it's like as soon as the guy starts stepping up our offense disappears.

39 shots on him last game. We scored twice in the beginning of the game then we were done.

We need a combo peice - Flyers O from Round 1 and goaltending from this series and I say we win.

Yeah, you're right. But with Giroux out, Bryz will need to come up huge. I'm expecting the first powerplay unit to be terrible tonight. That's were we'll need guys like Jagr and Briere to really provide the push.

Time for the invisibles to show up in this game, no more coasting.
Set the damn tone and forecheck the **** out of them.
I actually feel good about this game, as I did in game 1.

I'm starting to wonder where this team would be in this series is Richards were still here. Simmonds and Schenn have been missing this series(along with everyone else) and havent been anything great all playoff.

Probably saving a meaningless empty net goal in Game 4 of a sweep

You guys are completely missing my point. It doesn't matter if the devils "dominated" us for even 58 minutes a game, if we capitalize on their few gaffs, like we've been doing, we'll be "in" every game. The score is all that matters. If you're "dominated" 95% of a game and win, you're 1) not being dominated since they let you score and 2) not being dominated because they couldn't capitalize.

The Devils are playing a great series and shutting us down 95% of the time. The Flyers, in turn, capitalize when they mess up, as they do to us. Ok, they're in our zone 60% of the game, what's the done for them? Blowout every game? Nope, hasn't happened.

So to all of you people saying the score doesn't matter, well, when it comes down to it, what else does?

Absolutely no expectations for tonight. Definitely don't have my hopes up but I would like the team to actually play with some effort for once.

I feel like all the guts and heart this team was showing this year just disappeared in this series.

Just play NHL caliber hockey tonight, please.

Doubt we'd even be in the second round to be honest.

This series, in isolation? I doubt we'd be any better. Honestly.

Quick
Brown
Penner

I don't think Richie or Carts has had a big postseason (to this point). I don't mind if they win the Cup as passengers. Would sting if they were key pieces.

Mesazros could be replacing Lilja. Not confirmed.

That's not a true stamp of confirmation but a possibility.

Looks like Mez is in.

Re: Kings, Richards, carter, et al: should the Flyers not make it to the Finals, I'll be pulling for the Kings.

I'd still do the trades even if the Kings win. Simmonds and Schenn are both very young. And G doesn't have the same season IMO if they're here.

That and let's be realistic, Carter and Richards are far down this list of the top playoff performers for the Kings.

It just did not work here, and LA has better D/GT. I'm happy for Richie if he gets to lift the Cup; he's the kind of player that deserves to win.

Ive been awfully impressed with LA but I have been equally impressed with Phoenix. Wouldnt be surprised if either team wins it.

Richards just could not be our captain. I don't blame him for this, I blame the person who gave him the "C."

Had Richards not been captain, he would still be here. However, there was no way to take the C from him and still have him be part of this team.

I can't root for LA because of Richards and Carter. I think Quick is amazing (I am now sold on him). If Gagne was able to suit up for the playoffs, that would change my tune. Of the Flyers we have let go, he surely deserves a cup more than anyone.

The Yotes have been good. Rooting for them in the West. They deserve it. It is funny though, that two teams we traded with might move farther then we are though. Richards and Carter in LA, taking Bryzgalov from PHX.
