But, not liking an announcer doesn't make it "hate". I am sure he's a decent guy all around.
I know its not literal hate. But hes not a bad PBP. Come on what other PBP guy can you come up with a drinking game for?

Speaking of announcers, have a listen to the call here via the MSG Radio Network (Kenny Albert/Dave Maloney) -- I synced up their radio broadcast with the Richards game tying goal and Staal's OT winner. Great stuff.

He's been back in form for awhile now and what a pleasure to watch!!!
I think he should take over MDZ spot on the top PP unit for now - his shot has been more on and he provides better defensive coverage against shorthanded rushes.

Might be the best game I have ever seen Staal play. He was incredible. He looks like he is back to his old self at exactly the right time.
He was absolutely dominant in all three zones tonight. He was flying through the neutral zone every chance he had, leading the rush and going in on the forecheck. He also did and excellent job of getting past the Caps' shot blockers, either by moving and shooting, or getting the puck to an open man.
That puck he bobbled at the blueline ended up being costly, but it's tough to fault him for having trouble with a bouncing puck like that when he's under heavy pressure from the opposing forward.

I'd be on board with that, I get so frustrated watching MDZ miss the net and have the puck end up out of the zone on a PP.
Great to see Staal finding his game again after having to sit out for so long.
