Kimmo is a warrior, but he's never looked as mortal as he did this series. He looked very slow and injured down the stretch at times this year as well. Will he be able to heal and recover for next season? Do you expect him to be more than a shell of the player he used to be next year? Does he rebound and have more of a career left in his tank down the line, or is he rapidly coming to the end of the road? How banged up is he? How do the Flyers prepare to replace him?
I think he'll play next year(hopefully in a reduced role seeing 2nd pairing minutes) and retire after next year. He's just not what he used to be.
This.If he doesn't retire I'd like to see him back with a lot less minutes and wear and tear. He'll be much more useful later in the year I think. No reason Coburn/Mez/Carle can't pick up the slack. That's if Carle is back.
