Now maybe the Giroux lovefest will stop.

LOL. After 6 games, the Flyers were awarded the Stanley Cup and Giroux named the best player in the world.

All I can say is, "Thank you Devils..."

I don't want to hear **** from Flyers fans anymore about Crosby whining after the yapping Giroux did in the playoffs. Someone needs to start making binky photoshops for him.

Also someone please go through all the playoff games for the Flyers and put together a Giroux crybaby compilation video.

I've had a smile on my face for the past 20 minutes. What a great night. I guess a little Karma with all the Flyer/Giroux love since the Pens series? Devils handled them. I will forever respect the Devils franchise for this. 1975 and counting....

I like to think that we "loosened the jar" for the Devils.

I think I need to quote Pittsburgh's own Buddha of all things hockey Mark Madden on a night like this. "The Flyers are going to win the Stanley Cup whose left in the playoffs to stop them?"

to be fair, quite a few posters around here were saying the same thing. every year something hits the fan in the playoffs and screws up predictions, but no one ever learns.

I take no joy in this whatsoever. If anything, Fleury's performance just infuriates me even further. The Eastern Conference was there for the taking.
