Guys... please do not post on the Flyers boards and please do not discuss it here. It's only going to end poorly. The Flyer mods are actually very good people. Don't give them extra work.

I never go there, and people who do after a loss like this pretty much should expect infactions. Will not get any sympathy from me.

However, from the safe distance of our home here, their tears are precious to me.

My FAVORITE comment is that the Buccos actually have a championship earlier than the Flyers do. That is just freaking crazy. Even w/ losing seasons, that just blew my mind.

His shots at the Pens all year were annoying, but now they're just glorious tears...

Sarah Baicker ‏ @sbaickerCSN
Jagr says this season was the most he's enjoyed a season in the NHL. And that's counting the Cup years.

I've never thought of that, but that is pretty funny.

He can put that one right up there with the time he guaranteed the Pens were leaving and moving to KC. Atta boy, Super Genius.

very glad the flyers lost, but it makes the penguins losing even more embarassing.
Not sure how. It was pretty obvious in that series we were playing a defensively challenged team with a terrible goaltender. We were just playing that much worse. Having a good team who is playing at the top of their game make Philly look this bad really doesn't show anything about the Pens that wasn't quite apparent from the get-go.

Don't really care who wins Cup now,,although it would be sweet to see Richards and Carter hoist Cup!!!, Love the irony in that. "'1975 is still alive". Thank You Devils!

I posted on the Flyer boards tonight only to remind them to go to New Jersey's board and wish them "good luck" in the next round just like they expected Pens fan's to wish the Flyers "good luck" in this round.

I hate when other fanbases get salty and take out their sorrows on us. Let's not be those guys.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the biggest hypocritical fanbase in all of sports watch their team's embarrassing drought continue. Everything they complain about the Penguins doing their team was just as guilty doing - whining, diving, acting immature, cheap shots, dirty play yet they will never admit since they act like they are above it all. It's that much more satisfying watching the "greatest player" in the world sit on his rear as his team got knocked out. Actually, he isn't the greatest player anymore since Danius Zubrus is better because he had more points then Giroux. Isn't that right Lavy? Oh well, at least this will give him and Giroux more time to smash sticks together and act childish. This will also give more time for Briere to cry over legal hits too.

Congrats on winning squat this year Jagr. So what team will he play for next season? A team that will gaurantee him top line minutes? Or how about a team with a right handed center? Nah, he'll go where the $$$$$$ is and spew his BS about it not being about the money.

1975 is alive and well!!!!!!!
