Colorado is NOT interested in Biron.

I agree, it's especially hard on goalies who lose a ton of fluids in the course of a game. Even though they replace the fluids, it still takes time to recover. A case could be made for starting Noronen to see if he can handle it, but with a fresh Biron waiting in the wings, I don't think this is the time for it. Noronen's got a good thing going. I'd hate to see it ruined because his reflexes are slightly off.

Buffalo gets hosed in that deal. Vishnevsky has been beat out for a regular spot in Anaheim's line up by waiver draft pick up Todd Simpson.

This move doesn't add enough to make it worth moving Biron, IMO.

I wonder if we could get him for Campbell and a prospect/pick, then. That'd definitely make everyone in Buffalo pretty happy to get a guy that hits like a Mack truck for a floater.

Colorado isn't really having goaltending problems, Aebischer has been playing really well. If they do make a move, it'll be later in the season and they will certainly want a veteran goalie. I don't see why they'd want Biron. They already have two young goalies.

The problem is that Vishnevsky hasn't been playing aggressive this year.

It sounds to me like they'll be adding the 02-03 version of Jay McKee with a Russian accent.

And I'm not sure the Ducks would want Campbell. Right now, I'm not sure how many other NHL teams would want him.
