we haven't won a single game this series. washington lost 3. they're the better team. time to step it up.

I feel very confident that we can win a Game 7 but my Lord this is putrid. How a team doesn't muster any confidence from Game 5 is insane.

Shutout. Good point, Holtby is totally getting a shutout. Shutout indeed. Shutout.

Who is more hated now? Capitals or Devils? Honestly, I cannot stand the Capitals right now. And the thought of them knocking us out 3 CONSECUTIVE PLAYOFFS makes me want to puke.

Is disgusting that this is the
performance they put up in an
elimination game.
This effort is awful. I may sell my game 7 tickets. I cannot aupport the way torts is running this lineup.

We're not ******** the bed. We're being outplayed. I don't think you guys have watched any recent championship teams that closely, you seem to have some glorified vision of what a cup team looks like.

the hustling is the only one i agree with but a lot of teams do that slow breakout on the PP. we had a few shifts where we had great pressure. there was one shift we held it in their zone for like 2 minutes and the defensemen delivered something like 3-4 crisp crisp one timers. I was quite surprised to see them shooting so. Intimidation isn't necessary but I would like to see Boyle go and abuse Ovechkin and Green. The Cally penalty was unfortunate. He went for the puck and go the legs. it's not like he did a stupid retaliation slash/roughing or a lazy holding call. the goal scoring isn't as much of a concern as scoring chances which I will concede is also making me a little loopy but not full on insane.

Look at the quality of chances and it decisively in WAS's favor. Lundqvist has made the harder saves.

And yes, Torts has painfully been outcoached this game. From the second the puck was dropped.

yep. their shortfalls in terms of personnel are there for everyone to see in the playoffs.

Sather still has some work to do.

On a side note... Knicks down by 17 with 5 mins to go in the 4th, so they're cooked.

In this game, yes, but overall I think Holtby's been better, and people in here are talking about him like he's a sieve.

How many highlight reel saves have we forced Holtby to make this series? One?

Overall the scoring chances are also decisively in Washington's favor, too.

I really can't imagine your reaction if Hank let in the goals Holtby did to let us take Game 5. Hank has consistently faced better chances from a better offense.

Just look at the shots last game. All of our "offense" was just throwing pucks at the net. Hotly has been mediocre this round and a good offensive team would've taken advantage of it.

You're an eternal optimist, but this performance should give every Rangers fan serious doubts about the outcome of Game 7.

They look like **** and are being outperformed in every aspect of the game except goaltending. Offense: ****. Defensive coverage: ****. Powerplay: ****. Coaching: ****. Ability to win battles: ****.
