All Tortorella does is cut people off. "stop coaching..." Ugh.

To come out and play like that in a game where you can close out a series is embarrassing.

We simply don't have the players that have the balls to go to the net. We just don't have the players nor the Drive to play Smashmouth hockey.....ala the Kings

We are such a One Dimensional team.......which is Play it Safe, Grind it, Muck it

No creativity at all with our team.....unlike all the other teams left on the playoffs

it's pretty sad comming to this point with this team......

He does not know how to make in game changes, it seriously unreal that a coach at his level could be so bad at making an adjustment mid-game.

The 2nd PP unit was horrific, yet he continues to use them and they couldn't even get in the zone. How is Hagelin and Kreider not on a PP unit? How is Del Zotto starting at the point, he can't even hit the net or complete a pass. Prust on the ice in the last 5 minutes? Are you kidding me down 2 goals Prust is getting ice time?

The PP should have been sorted out by now but instead of going to the net to create traffic and cause hell for Holtby he sees every shot or we just miss the net. Even better we look for the perfect pass and don't even shoot. It is pathetic.

Prust mainly only play PK.

If they had Dubi, at least you'd have Dubinsky on line 3 and Boyle or Fedotenko on line 4. Much better look.
Id throw Prust out there a little bit he played well just not in a scoring manner.
if Dubinsky is ready to go and in place of Mitchell or moving Boyle down to 4th line then I personally do not see a problem with playing them say 8-10 mins (with the lead)

Nope, it's not. Which is why I still believe they take game 7, despite being fairly certain they would poo poo game 6.

I'm not worried.

This. My level of Hatred for the Caps is at an all time high. Its not even that I hate the team, its more of a "Can we ever ****ing win against these guys *sigh*" sort of miserable feeling

Wait, we got outcoached in 90 of our games now? This is one of few times Torts was seriously outcoached.

Also, some of our important second tier players (Artie, Step, Hags) must show up, including the captain, who has had a very quite series. Although, it would help if Stepan played with Cally, and maybe with Kreider, who can use his speed.
Geez, I hope you're right about saturday. Our performance tonite was totally demoralizing; really don't understand it. Torts really needs to stop being so pigheaded about the line combinations!
