sorry but i don't have a good feeling in my gut for game 7....i don't know why torts makes the lines the way he does and plays certain guys over others but it doesn't take a genius to realize that these decisions have a very poor probabilty of working....yet he keeps persisting in his way of coaching.....we are lucky not to be eliminated by now....6 seconds from being down 3 to 2 after game 5 and with tonights loss we are out

Torts has done more good for this team than bad.

We need to step up our play and play like we care.

Better believe it. I don't go out of my way to antagonize another team. I only root for my own.

Yes, everyone wants a cup, but this season has been a success to build on, win or lose.

I like the way this guy thinks. Although I think Richards has way too much talent. Needs more Feds.

i'm not arguing that....i actually agree with that

we don't match up or play well against Teams that play a D first philosophy like us. We just don't match up well against our own style. Example being St Louis when we got outplayed badly in the regular season. We see it now against this D-first philosophy that Dale Hunter has instituted with this Caps team.

We would have more chances and be a better matchup vs Devils, Coyotes, or Kings even (though the Kings are the team I fear the most of the three)

Torts and the boys better get it together for Gmae 7. Whatever it is they need to do, preparation, analyzing film, motivating certain players (ala Gabby), playing others more (ala Kreider). Whatever it is......they need to get it DONE!!! Get it Done! No Chokejob here guys!!!

but they're not out. They're still very much alive. I'm not going to say the stars are aligned because let's face it, that never means crap for the Rangers. I'll just say they're not out, they have every chance to win Saturday, and I believe they will.

Boyle playing on the 2nd line over Stepan makes me want to punch Torts right in the mouth.

Had the Rangers lost Game #7 and there was no work stoppage, Keenan would have been fired the next day.

Remember all of the sideshow nonsense that was going on after Game #6?

Messier and the team leaders willed that team to the Cup. Keenan had very little to do with Game #7.

They've played well at home, but they can't hold out for a miracle again.
i'm not too positive. I believe they have a chance to win, but no more.
this could just as well be another 1 goal thriller where we lose.

We've had far too many of those. I wan't a rangers team that wins decisively

Put him in Richards' place. Too much talent. Not enough GRINDING on that line.

The whole thing was ridiculous. What a mess (no pun intended.) And yes, Messier and Graves et al had a lot to do with game 7. But who put the team together to begin with? That's the greatest thing about a good fit with a coach and a team. The coach helps the team work together but the team also helps the coach when he needs it too. You pick good players and good fits for your team and you get a happier return in the end.

100% true.....if we our fourtante enough to advance the LGR chants in newark are going to be loudddddd.

This is the same for the Knicks to. I remember this season, when they played in newark, everytime they scored it was 300x louder then when the nets scored.

Disgusting.. piss poor dog **** effort all game long.

Richards actually looked horrible with the turnovers and amount of passes into guy's skates and trying to weave through 4 opponents, etc etc.

Just absolutely horrible all the way around.
