Would you dress Zucc Game 7 for PP?

The PP is a joke we all know that, would you sit Rupp who gets less ice than Stu Bickel and give Zucc limited PP time to help our anemic PP in game 7? I have to think if he is even 75% I would consider dressing him, only play him on the PP. I doubt it could hurt at this point. I would love for Mitchell to be scratched, but we all know he has naked pics of Torts wife so he continues to play every game even getting PP time.

Here is Torts chance to actually make a move to try and help our team win via the PP cause we are just not getting it done.

Which is why if you read the actual post it says a Zucc that is 75% healthy. Obviously I know he is not fully healthy or I would not be suggesting we only play him on the PP. We desperately need help on the PP and someone with some creativity. At this point I would play him only on the PP, he is better than everyone on the 2nd unit even at less than full strength.

The ****ing Caps would be all over his wrist with "accidental" slashes and such. Not worth the risk, especially if he's not ready to go. I remember dressing Jagr in the 07 playoffs was it? When he hurt his shoulder against the Devils, just for the PP, and it wasn't worth it.

I believe he said himself that he can barely pass and still can't shoot.

I didn't read that, but I saw him on the ice for Rangers practice on NHL live and Prust was bumping into him, he appeared to be shooting the puck.

Hmmmm, I'm glad to hear he's making progress but like nyrpassion said, he'd be slashed to death 10 minutes in.

I don't think we played the Devils in the 07 playoffs. We swept Atlanta and lost to Buffalo in 6, maybe you mean the year before that?

If he's not ready, it's not worth it. Wouldn't want to **** anything up long term, Esspically with zuc who showed a lot of promise after he got called up.

I wouldn't want to throw Zuke out there if his wrist is not fully healed, as he'll be like dangling meat for the wolves that are Chimera, Laich, and even Ovechkin. Easy pickings for a turnover and possibly a more severe injury...

You know it's bad when people want to throw a midget in the lineup, no offense to Zucc but i just don't think he would help out as much as people think he would. What we need to do it throw Hagelin Richards Gaborik and Kreider Stepan and Callahan back together and let it go from there, give Kreider and Hagelin PP time and have Anisimov screen the goalie and let's see what happens.

If we're not going to resign him, then I could see them doing it but if he has a future in New York, then he'll get healthy first..

Plus, you think Torts are ready for the Norwegian media after each game again ?lol...

or vice versa...

No he didnīt. He said he could pass, but not shoot properly yet. That is a huge difference. He also said that he thinks heīs ready for playing in maybe one week, but at least in two weeks.

IMO they shouldnīt play him if he is not 100% fit. He needs to know that his wrist is able to handle a powerful wristshot. In the given timeline this gives a comeback around game 2 or 3 in a Conference Final.

Zuccarello has always played very good straight after coming back after injuries. The way he played before his injuries, and the way the team struggles in PP so far, this for sure makes him a hot candidate to go straight into the lineup, even if itīs just for PP to begin with.

I can only repeat what I said earlier; itīs ment to be: Zuke with the game winner in OT the Stanley Cup Final 2012

Could you imagine the norwegian media if so happens? Poor Torts, haha.....

When is this going to stop? This yapping about his size? :
He has proven again and again that he can handle this. The games he played before he broke his wrist were great. He made an impact in the PP, and played well against the boards. Made no mistakes, and was one of the teams best players in most his games.

If you follow what Tortorella has said all season long it's that he waits for the player to come to him and say "I'm ready". Zuccarello has said a number of times that he's not.

Haha I actually laughed out loud to that one because it is sad but true

But back on topic: Rushing a guy back could hurt him in the future even more. Things like that have happened countless amounts of times in all sports. (See Steve Smith for the Giants in the 2010 season)

yea Zuke is not ready. As soon as he is ready I would put him in for Mitchell likely. Although Torts seems to love that guy.

If Zucc was ready to go, we all know who would be scratched: Kreider. Torts is absolutely ******* up with these lines, I mean the kid made a bad mistake three games ago, GET OVER IT. Once again being out-coached, truly pa-thetic at this point...

I cant wait till Zooks is on the ice again. With that said while he may be ready to play in 1-2 weeks his wrist will not be 100%. It could be 90% but that last 10% will take months of rest. In my case it took 2 years for my wrist to be 100%. It was 97% for a while but every once in a while I would feel a twinge of pain which every hockey player can live with and play through.

I'd rather just put Kreider out there. He's already in the lineup.

Honestly, the PP can't get any worse so we might as well put him in!
