When was the last time we went to the Conference Finals!? Its been years. So pumped!!
This long playoff run should really pay off for the youngsters development. Finally something to cheer about in Toronto

This team is scary good. I thought we'd have a tough time with Abbotsford after the first game of the series, but we haven't looked back ever since.

Only one loss in two rounds of playoff hockey, very impressive. This team looks very talented and well-rounded. Good coaching, skilled young players along with good leadership from guys like Zigo, Dupuis, etc. and solid goaltending from Scrivens. What more can you really ask for?

Colborne was out with screwed up finger. Wouldn't heal and he had to be put on antibiotics. This extra time to heal will be well valued.

This Calder run should be an awesome experience for the kids. It's great watching these boys work hard, and have fun together. The marlies have a nice combo of great character players like Zigo, Hamilton, D'amigo, Scott, Dupuis as well as the high-end skill guys (in the AHL) like Kadri, Gardiner, Frattin, and Colborne. I can't wait to go out to some games in the next series.

The playoff run could also do wonders for Ben Scrivens who gets to play in some high pressure situations without having to worry about huge negative reaction from fans if he has a bad game like he would in the NHL.

The 2007-2008 team wasn't nearly as good as this team is when they made it to the Conference Finals. I'm so pumped for the young guys like Kadri and Gardiner, finally they get to experience some success in the pros, can't wait for the series to start!

No offense but it's been mentioned like a million times, he has a concussion and he'll probably be out for the rest of the playoffs.

Sorry, I've been watching the games instead of reading the threads at the same time, and haven't been bothered to read all the pages lol.

Thanks though.

wonder if colborne's finger was the reason for his abysmal play

Scrivens has a mindset of a good goalie. Very calm and humble.

I strongly question Allaire as his developer

Imagine if he was 100% and playing well how much more we would have dominated.

Don't worry i asked the same question yesterday; even looked around on the marlies site to find a news report on it, without any luck.

Scary good how well they are playing. Considering Colborne and Ashton are impact players. Nice to see them having a decent amount of time off, able to rest up and ready themselves.

Platinums run for 40 I think. I just pay 20 bucks to sit a bit further back. I took this photo at game 1. Absolutely nothing wrong with this view for 20 bucks.

Please note the turnout compared to the turnout we've seen the last couple of games.

Keep it rolling boys!

This playoff run has been exciting to watch. One loss in two rounds of playoffs. At this point, no matter who advances or when they advance, the Marlies are going to the conference finals having played the least amount of playoff games to get there. Hopefully that works in their favour.
