What is the worst roster your team has iced that you remember seeing?
Now for the Leafs I know they've had bad years in the 80s but I started following in the late 90s, so the worst team I personally watched was probably the 2008-2009 team. Now I know statistically the 2009-2010 team did even worse the 08-09 line up is just hideous.
*Shudders* I don't know how we didn't finish 1st or 2nd overall with that roster, wouldda been nice to get Tavares.
Now those aren't the exact line combos, but I did what I remembered. Only bright spots was Schenn playing great, Grabo's first 20 goal season and Kulie showing potential. While 2009-2010 finished worst at least Burke added some goons that year, this years team was the softest team i've ever witnessed, way worse then us now.
I can't even figure out line combinations, we had so many terrible players playing. Our leading scorer was Scott Young, with 49 points. Our 2nd, 4th, and 6th leading scorers (Weight, Sillinger, and Tkachuk, respectively) were all traded. We had 10 Dmen play over 25, including stalwarts such as Kevin Dallman, Jeff Woywitka, Eric Weinrich, Christian Backman, and Steve Poapst. Our goalies were Bacashihua, Sanford, Lalime, and Divis. They combined for a 3.30 GAA and a .891 sv %. We didn't score 200 goals, and was last in GF/G. We were 28th in GA/G. We were awful.

Just like you said too, during my time as a fan. Easily this team.
Oh man...I went to the last game they played against the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul...what an awful group. Shutout 4-0, Luongo was pulled, Cowan fought Boogaard.
This was also the game if people remember where Burrows speared Bouchard which caused a small line brawl.
Zombotron, the 2007-08 Canucks were no where near the worst team we've ever iced. Disappointing? Sure, but the team had some actual talent and potential... unlike, say, our expansion years.
Early '70's aside, it our worst team would probably be our 1998-99 squad: The Bure holdout year... where our top line of Naslund, Messier and Mogilny managed just 159 points combined (Messier and Mogilny were both outscored by defenceman, Adrian Aucoin) and Garth Snow was our #1 goalie.
Although, all things considered, any of our mid-1980's teams may well have been worse.

I guess you didn't start following the Canucks until after the 90s.
In the later part of the 90s, most people in BC made fun of you if you were a Canucks fan. A lot of people wore NYR, Mighty Ducks, Sharks, Leafs, Avalanche, Red Wings, etc. jerseys. Am I really that old?

That actually sounds pretty good.
For the Rangers it has to be the lineup in 03-04 after we dealt away all our talent during the trade deadline. That's the worst since I started watching at least.

That was the full strength lineup which was okay, the bad part was the injury depleted team that finished the season 1-9. I can find the games on the NHL schedule but can't track down any boxscores, but that's the worst lineup for the Canucks I recall seeing since I started following the team closely in... I think 97.
