Dude, the amount of choosers in a beggars fanbase amazes me. 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 games in series. We want 30 POINTSSZZ!!
They want Gaborik to get a hat trick every ****ing game. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Hes been as effective as every other elite scoring forward in the playoffs.
The onus is not on Gaborik or Richards to score, but the other guys. THEY are the reason why our offense is so anemic.
I'm actually one of the biggest Gaborik fans on the board. I've always defended him, but he isn't having a good playoff. Do I expect him to score Saturday? Not necessarily, but it wouldn't be a shock if he does. But try reading more of my posts before you make a generalization.
melrose and burnside both have caps for game 7.. love when no one picks the rangers
I know it kind of doesn't make sense, since he's been right, but jesus Melrose has it out for us. He's chosen the Caps to win practically every game this series. Whenever they put the series on sportscenter and ask him who wins the next game, the answer is always the Capitals. I don't care how many times he is right, it gets really annoying to see the media so narrow-minded.

true melrose was spot on last round too, he had the caps to win in 6 against nyr
but this is where we shine the best in proving all the haters wrong, team plays stronger when everyone is expecting them to lose, meanwhile vegas has them as a -150 favorite
good point. remember game 7 ottawa our 2 goals were by defenseman. you usually get unlikely heroes in game 7s since the other team is gonna be extra focused on stopping the stars (stephane matteau anyone?), we're gonna need someone unlikely to step up with a big goal. call me crazy, but im going with....john mitchell!
I'm feeling Callahan returns to form. He might not necessarily finish a hat trick in double OT, but I expect him to block some big shots and throw some big hits.
And Melrose picked Pitt and whatever other team who was knocked out the first round to play for the cup…….
We have not come this far to have it end Saturday. We did not win game 5 to fizz out Saturday. We have a great team and will win Saturday….
Com’on boys….. take us to the promise land!!!!
vancouver, burnside had pitt going all the way
sometimes i wonder how these guys get these "analyst" jobs, they all on that crack pipe not picking la or phi wasn't that hard of a choice to be honest
I don't know why Torts hasn't tried it but why not Boyle on the first power play unit? Big body that can stand in front since no one does outside of Cally and he shouldn't be anyway, has some offensive skill, and has good board presence and long reach which is big when we dump it in. It just makes too much sense to me but it hasn't been tried.

This Saturday is all about Lundqvist. He will be huge. He will have to be. We'll get the early lead and hold on.
I'm very confident they'll win this Saturday. This teams ability to step up and put bad games behind them has been their strongest asset all season long.
If the rangers actually show up on saturday they will win. They did not show up at ALL on wednesday, played the ********* game of hockey I have seen them play in these playoffs, and still only lost by one goal. This team plays their best when the gun is against their heads. They have come up big in the biggest situations all season long and throughout the playoffs. They have proven me wrong enough times when I thought they were done that I have to believe they will do the same on saturday.
How did the Rangers do so well on faceoffs when it counted on Monday. I think they won 7 in a row. Was that just a weird fluke, or was it because the linemen were were not throwing Brad (and others) out.
Last night, Richards was losing a lot of them.
I did not record who did what on Monday. Is Richards better on home ice where the visiting team has to put their stick on the ice for the drop, I don't know. That really has me wondering, how the Rangers won those faceoffs so nicely on Monday when they counted, and there is no doubt that it was a Capitals win without that.
Hoping the same thing occurs Saturday, along with a more physical, forceful t-e-a-m effort.

lol I wish I didn't watch that. I'm so ****ing motivated right now I could put my fist through a wall. BRING ON THE CAPS! I AIN'T DONE WATCHING HOCKEY JUST YET!
