I remember Suter when he was 17/18. He was never the defensive stud that he is today.

Far from it.

But I agree with you.

You can't make a comparison like that at this point in time. Right now Cam Fowler has and will have an NHL career. Whether it ends up being a Ryan Whitney career, or a Paul Coffey career or somewhere in between is yet to be determined. Morgan Rielly on the other hand at this point in time, is hoping he has an NHL career.

Would Murray be comparable to Hamhuis in style?

He's got noticeably higher offensive talent than Hamhuis.

Seen the name Niedermayer but that's extreme. Scott Niedermayer was a hall of famer.

Also seen Murray compared to Alex Pietrangelo.

Murray's latest comparisons have been a little too rash.

Your definition of 'comparison' is different than mine.

Please share your perfect definition for Ryan Murray.

Otherwise, don't **** on the opinion of others.

You don't have to take it so personally. I meant his comparisons in general.

Then there's like 15 different players/prospects we can compare to Orr. I don't see why we should though.

I'm not taking it personally, I'm just interested to know your opinion.

Since every comparison made about Murray are not accurate in your opinion, provide some content.

What is the best comparison for him?

2. Rielly is more comparable to Visnovsky/Karlsson to me then Keith. I think He'll be a worthy contender one day in the NHL LIKE Keith is now, but I see Rielly being more O than a two way.
3. Where did you see that? I'd like to read it.

Also, I know where you saw the Keith comparison. Whoever was coming up with those is an idiot. Here's the rest of the comparisons.

Yakupov-Ovechkin
Grigorenko-Malkin
Murray-Niedermayer
Dumba-Schenn
Forsberg-Paajarvi
Subban-Price
Trouba-Jack Johnson (maybe Erik...but not Jack)
Reinhart-Pronger

Just food for thought.
I clearly haven't seen Rielly play. My post was made in jest.

As far as where I saw the comparison.. I can't remember.. but it obviously stood out in my mind when thinking of Rielly.

You need glasses. I gave the rest of the comparisons from the guy who compared Rielly to Keith. These are not my comparisons at all. I found it just as retarded.

EDIT: why would I compare Trouba to Jack Johnson and then say he's closer to Erik in playing style? Try reading before overreacting. Also interesting that you cut out the part where I said "here's the rest of the comparisons"

Reilly reminds me more of Ryan Murphy than Cam Fowler.

Ah, my bad. Anways a scout was quoted in the THN draft preview on page 25. Here is the quote talking about Rielly

Quote:
"This guy is dynamic," said one scout. "Sort of like a Duncan Keith - good skater. It's a shame he hot hurt. A lot of scouts don't watch the underage year"
