That was a little nerve wracking. Bartschi scares me every time he's on the ice.

Can you buy game 7 tickets now not knowing if it will be necessary?

And if you can, will you be refunded if game 7 isn't necessary?

I watched about 5 minutes of the 2nd but was able to see the Oil Kings PP.

Gernat looked outstanding running the PP. So calm with the puck and he was making great passes. Don't know much about his all-around game, but with his size and skill, he is very intriguing.

Seems like Bartschi is going to be a great player for Calgary. They finally get a gem of a draft pick but one player is not enough.

It's torture watching Bartschi slipping through our D and putting one into the net. Flames have one great prospect in the works...I don't like him :'(

Don't worry, knowing the flames they'll trade him for some 32 year old rental pending UFA next year as they "go for it"...

Bartschi has quite a series, and he is definitely a great 1st round pick for Flames. However, it's even tougher for me to say this, the best gem of them all was their 6th round, 164th pick, our goalie Laurent Brossoit.

Was at the game today. Insane atmosphere for an oil kings game. Highly recommend going if you have the time.

I dunno, Brossoit looks great at the junior level behind a pretty good team but there are definitely weaknesses in his game that could be exploited at the NHL level.

Brossoit has done a lot of standing on his head in these playoffs. There have been games where the defence has been bad but he has kept us in it. Should be fun to follow his career and see if he ends up in the NHL. I'd bet that he does.

Obviously I am getting ahead of myself, but what are the Oil Kings chances in the Memorial Cup? How do they rank against St John?

Oh don't get me wrong, he's been really good and he has a shot at the NHL. I'm just saying there are some areas he's average to below average in which could become a problem as he moves into the professional ranks.

He doesn't always read plays well and he goes down in his butterfly pretty early at times.

Lets worry about this series first before we start talking Memorial Cup.

Portland is gonna come out fired up after giving up the game late like that, we have a war on our hands Saturday.
