Anyone but Phoenix, and it has hardly anything to do with the fact that they eliminated us.

It has to do with the fact that the people in Phoenix could care less about that team, so why should they be rewarded with a Stanley Cup? Also, it would disgust me to see Torres' name engraved on the Cup...the guy is as dirty as it gets, and if he gets to celebrate a Cup win, there is no justice in the hockey world.

At least every other team left in the playoffs has good fan support.

But if I had to choose right now, I'd choose LA. Quick is just ridiculous...he's reminding me a lot of Cam Ward during Carolina's Cup run.

No, nothing. He shouldn't take advantage of a chance to spin everything and make himself blameless like he always does. Just say congrats to the Coyotes and leave it at that.

The team hadn't won a playoff series in their 15 YEARS OF EXISTENCE THERE. That's not a good way to draw fans in...

That's hardly an excuse. The Toronto Maple Leafs are perennial losers and they have the biggest and most dedicated fan base in all of hockey.

I have no ill will towards Phoenix. I don't fault Phoenix for the Hawks not being good enough to beat them.

You look more and more like a fool when you say things like that. Blackhawks are the super team of the NHL!

I'd be rooting for Phoenix if not for that Torres hit. I've had a soft spot for them for years but not so much anymore. Going with the Kings here.

Counting their time in Winnipeg, this is their first trip to the 3rd round ever. And they started in 1979. This season was only their third trip to the 2nd round.

Phoenix started out with one of the most fun teams to watch I can remember and if that couldn't get fans in, nothing will.

I have a feeling that people will regret rooting for the Kings. Especially since we'll probably have to play against them in the playoffs and we won't have the "no Cup" argument we had against Canucks. Plus if they win it they'll get a ton of bandwagoners and I hate Western Conference bandwagoners on the main board. Tons of "Richards>>Toews, Doughty>>>Keith, Carter>>>Kane, Kopitar>>>Toews, Voynov>>Leddy, Brown>>Hossa, Williams>>Sharp" ect. ect.

Of course that might happen anyways like we saw when people called Kesler the best USA player in the world and a top 10 center in the NHL.

I just have a feeling we'll really hate the Kings because I bet we meet in the playoffs once or twice in the next few years. They could be the cream of the crop in the West with some luck over the next 5 years. I just don't ever root for Western Conference teams. I kind of wanted the Preds to win but I would've regretted it. I just want them to keep Suter instead of the Wings getting him.

I'm going Eastern Conference. I like a few players on the Kings...Kopitar, Richards, Quick. However, if the Hawks don't win it I don't want any team from the West to win.

I'm gonna pull for the Rangers.

Philadelphia has a legitimate shot, in my opinion.

For the first time in 15+ years of being a fan and watching the playoffs, I have to admit that I just don't care who wins it all. The hockey is incredibly dull and I have no particular hate or soft spot for any remaining team.
