lol I wish I didn't watch that. I'm so ****ing motivated right now I could put my fist through a wall. BRING ON THE CAPS! I AIN'T DONE WATCHING HOCKEY JUST YET!
In all seriousness, from a realism standpoint, I don't see us winning this game. Having said that, the Rangers have shown resiliency all year in having a turnaround game after a flunk one, so we'll see. The pros on our side: garden ice, rebound control as a team. The cons: they have so much more talent and are much more deadly, refs.
Lundqvist needs to have a game similar to game 3 in the Ottawa series. Don't get me wrong, he's been good, as he has been all season long. But these are the games where you'll look back if you're a SC winner and say 'he really pulled through for us' if he can pull off a real great effort and limit the Caps to 1 goal or less. It doesn't matter how hard the Caps play if Lundqvist can pull one of his godly games out of his pocket.
Would be easier if the Rangers could ever score 3 goals or even 2 for christ sake (which sometimes seems impossible) to make it easier for him.
all season long people have been telling me how Ruslan Fedotenko and Mike Rupp would be so key in the playoffs.
Now would be a good time for those 2 to you know....score a goal or something.
So sick of hearing about that and their playoff experience. Give me a ****ing break already.
What the hell does Rupp do? Tell them what he saw when he played? These guys have hardly any impact on the games that were won and the games being won now. Especially Rupp. He's what, 32 years old? Has two bad knees as well. He's worthless. Feds isn't much better.
I'd say the chances one of those two score a goal are about 0-2%.
I just want to stop hearing every analyst on earth kissing Dale Hunter's ass. I've heard enough about Ovechkin's ice time, too. And how great he's been.
Last time I checked, Richards had more points than Ovechkin.
There's something special about this team... They win when they must, sometimes in crazy fashion. I'm still nervous, but overall I'm feeling alright about game 7. Home ice definitely helps.

I'm thinking back to 2009. Varlamov was keeping the Penguins in check and in Game 7 they finally started exposing his weak glove hand and thrashed the caps. I'm hoping this year the Rangers expose holtby's weak rebound control. Although it always seems like the rebound go to dead space or right to a caps player, we can catch a break this game right?

My thoughts exactly. I thought we put way too many pucks at this guys chest last game, and quite frankly, throughout the series. I'd really like to see more low, wide shots that force Holtby to kick out some rebounds.
If we win the cup this year, (*knock on wood*) there is NO WAY the next two rounds will be harder than the first two. So much for first seed having the easiest route to the finals.
