Next year may be a drastically different story. But at the very least Smith isn't on 24/7 spouting off about the Universe

It is being speculated that Jaromir Jagr will test the waters as an unrestricted free agent.
The veteran winger didn't outright say that he wanted to be back in a Philadelphia uniform after the team was eliminated from Stanley Cup contention, by New Jersey, in the second round. Jagr proved that he has still has something left to give by recording 19 goals and 54 points in 73 games, during his return to the NHL, and he can add plenty of leadership qualities as well.

Could be a good fit with Plekanec and Gionta and on the PP. They will be hard pressed to re-sign him with all the UFA's and RFA's.

I'm happy for the Flyers though, hopefully he keeps collecting the big paycheques and providing crappy goaltending.

Bryz didn't want to resign there (relocation factor) and they didn't have the resources to make him reconsider his decision.

Obviously he'd be a nice addition...but at what cost and what cap hit?

Why do people even still check this site?

I dunno why the Jets would consider trading him unless they're getting a really, really good return.

People pay money to "get the inside scoop"

I should make a website where people can sign up and pay me money and I won't punch them.

Or maybe the move from Atlanta to Winnipeg didn't strike Evander's fancy. I've felt before Evander even showed up in Winnipeg he wouldn't be there long.

that site is sooooooo full of crap. Two years ago on Remembrance day weekend they offered a free membership to their VIP area to veterans. So I emailed asking for mine.....still waiting.

And really? Kane has a breakout 30 goal season and suddenly he's available, and he tacks the Habs name to it for hits. They'd move Kane as easily as we'd move Pacioretty. Retarded

He should get another year in junior, this year was basically a wipeout.

It would be better for him in junior because if you have too many prospects in one place it cuts in on their playing time.

Man if Minny has a player in this draft that they really like, I would definitely offer them our 1st round pick for Charlie Coyle, hot damn is he ever going to be good!

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to add a guy like that as potentially a 2nd line winger, but I don't see as much upside in him as with guys like Yakupov, Forsberg, Galchenyuk and TT.

He has ridiculous numbers these playoffs...17 GP 15-19-34 but the Sea Dogs have been scoring a ton of goals, early on against a Cape Breton team that didn't belong in the playoffs, then in the finals against crappy Rimouski goaltending. when you look at his NCAA numbers the last couple years 53 GP 10-30-40, they don't paint a picture of a guy that will be a 1st line NHL center/winger, so I'm a bit skeptical.

If Evander Kane is available, the Habs better get him. Him and Patches on our top 2 lines would be ridiculous

Considering his probable price tag and character issues I would prefer it if we stayed away.

He has an attitude because he doesn't like Winnipeg? Something must of happened and it's not like if we don't have players on the Habs with character issues

So the price doesn't matter? I wouldn't mind adding him but like anything else, the price has to fit. If Winnipeg asks for our 1st pick and Beaulieu then it's a pass.

Kane was drafted 4th overall so pretty much in the same position we are in now at #3. Kane has and is still developing very well and projecting to be a 30+ maybe 40 goal scorer. Our pick is a risk right now, nothing is guaranteed. Maybe we could swap our 1st with the Jets and then add something else to balance it out but if he is on the block we should definitely not let him slip away especially to another team in the East

They may want a young roster player like Eller + 1st
