Which is why they should switch to cycling long distance. Still get the needed cardio, but get rid of the useless impact of joints.
This would be an injury risk, no coach would put their players on bikes going the speed that they would need for effective training, I would instead look into the less scenic route of elliptical training,
Has Varly been playing as well as his stats indicate?
First game he looked little rusty and shaky, but in the game against Germany he looked really good imo. He rested todays game against Denmark pretty sure he will be in net next game against team Sweden.
I think first two game they didn't looked so great. The game against Germany they played better and today against Denmark they were really good. I think it took time for them to adjust to each other. They play very similar and both player are amazing with the puck. They are a really fun line to watch and i think Kulemin is a perfect 3rd man on that line with his energy and two way play. But i still think Datsyuk can play better.

Thanks.
They haven't got many points yet but if they're playing well, the points will come sooner or later. Too good players NOT to produce if they play even close to they're level.
Dats may be having injury issues, that's what he's game looked like at the playoffs. But in larger rink he can use his brain more instead of his body so that should help
IIRC, Russia has 2 games left against Czech and Italy. Does Russia clinch the first spot in the group with 1 regulation win?
I wouldn't be so quick. Czech's are very good and could very well beat Russia, just as likely as the opposite. If they beat Czechs than I would say it's most likely. Russia, historically, always struggled against the Czechs.

,
The point is if we beat Italy, we win the group regardless the outcome of Cze-Rus
Korneev who's also a season long partner for Nikulin if I am not mistaken...Ryasenskiy was god-awful for CSKA and sometimes benched...
Right now it looks like the coach knows more than we know(Isn't it how it schould be anyway?). His decisions on personnel are spot on. I will wait till the end of the tournament with absolute praise or critisizm but right now I don't see any obvious wrongs with the guys on the roster.
