London Knights WIN!!!! YES!

Tinordi had a couple of problem shifts, and helped out on the Niagara goal, but he was also out there defending on the last shift, made a great block, and got the puck down ice. I thought he played a solid last 10 minutes. He seemed to play ALOT. And he blocked a ton of shots. He reminds me of a bigger version of Josh Gorges.

Like others said, he needs to use his stick a little better, especially considering the reach the dude has. Not NHL ready, but then neither was Subban when he came out of junior.

... Like Boris Valabik, another giraffe drafted high in a first round ? (he played in 80 NHL games, but...)

Nice win for the knights. Not Tinordi's best game. He was the goat on the goal they gave up, but it was a bit of a fluke too. He was still out there at the end.

Valabik couldn't skate. Tinordi can. That alone is a big difference.

Send a message via MSN to WeThreeKings
Tinordi - London Knights
Michael Bournival & Morgan Ellis - Shawinigan Cataractes
Nathan Beaulieu - Saint Johns Sea Dogs.

Our 3 top defensive prospects and a 3rd line prospect. Nothing wrong with that. Going to check out every game on Sportsnet.

Anyone know when the tournament begins?

We'll get to see two top Habs prospects during Memorial Cup: Tinordi and Beaulieu. That is exciting!

Ellis is having an awesome season and has impressed more than a few. It will be interesting.

Next year we already have Dietz + possibly others since we will have quite a few picks this year

Friday the 18th.

Every game will feature a Habs prospect.

These are sort of like our playoffs for this year.

You have to see it, it is pretty clear. Whether he achieve it, that's another thing. But what I don't like about posters bashing him is that they are doing it with the idea that he'll never develop and that's the end for him. It cleary isn't. But Timmins biggest weaknesses are his agility and his decision making timing.

My point at the time of the pick was that I was questioning the upside of the pick and the necessity to move and give a 2nd rounder on top of it. Now, I do see the upside....but he's never going to put up points on the board. But he might very well be the type of shutodwn d-man we keep waiting to have around here.

But it should take 1 full AHL year and maybe half of the other one....at best. So, not only you need a Robinson in the NHL....but how come are forgetting the coaches in the AHL? This is their first glance at the pros....you need some great teaching over there as well.

Yet, Timmins 1st rounders will always be questioned.
Well, I wish he plays way better hockey at the Mem cup cause tonight he just had no poise at all and let Harrington do the extra work all the time.. I thought he was much better last time I watched him..

Played a bit more in the third but had his regular shifts, basically no PP time in the game.. Maybe you confounded him with number 14 at times..

One reason why I want us to draft mostly forwards and pick up a goalie prospect in the upcoming draft.

Didnt even knew the cup was in Shawinigan this year. Awesome!

I'll take it we won't have represent from the WHL? Who are the two teams in finals? Edmonton and?

I know we should take this with a grain of salt, but Tinordi had the best plus/minus in both the playoffs and regular season.

Chara was brutal when he first came to the NHL. Not that it means Tinordi is destined to be Chara 2, but anyone that tall who has a smooth game as a teenager is going to be a lotto pick.

At this point Tinordi can be anything from a elite shut down defenseman to a bust. The signs are encouraging, but he's still a good 2 years from being even a bottom pairing NHLer. He's better than Hal Gill was at that age.

Watson the MVP. Always liked that pick, couldn't we have packaged Gill and AK46 for Austin Watson?

Knights and Sea Dogs should get to the final!

Beaulieau or Tinordi?
