I'm down to get a block of 200 tickets for a Rangers-Islanders game next year at this "rate". If I can get them for $8 each, and flip them for $10.

No person at that price point has that many tickets together and is gonna take that much of a loss let alone multiple people. Plus it came out that some people that purchased tickets on StubHub got an email from the Mets saying "thank you for purchasing from the Mets ticketing department."
Not arguing that Mets do or do not list tickets on SH.

But you are wrong that no person has 8 to 16 seats together. I had 18 seats, 2 full rows (back to back) for 2 years, sect 517. Broke even 2nd season at Citi, lost money last year and dumped tickets. I thought citi was going to be like Fenway/Wrigley with less seats, but the Wilpon's are always looking to screw season ticket holders. They constantly undercut the season ticket price, by offering specials to unload seats.

For a game 7(only 5th ever at MSG) on a Saturday night I would guess about $300. I checked T/E and I don,t think there is anything cheaper

Actually on T/E tickets start at about $265 each including fees. With fees on stubhub is around the same, and so is Ticketsnow. People are probably looking for seats at around $200 each or better

I could see in the upper deck but I'm talking about 16 seats right behind the dugout with similar listings in nearby rows.

Was able to score two in the 300s for 450 off Craigslist from a season ticket holder out of town for work.

Cannot emphasize CL enough. I scored great lower bowl seats for 200 bucks a piece from off of there and it feels like Xmas. Obviously, that's not the norm, but if you're in the area, keep your eyes on CL for sure.

Well, that sounds reasonable. If anyone needs two in the 300s on the good end in the 2nd row on the aisle for $300 a piece...I've got a pair.

Tivo it. When you get home playback and fast forward through the commercials and intermission and you'll be caught up in the 3rd period

Either give the Yankee tix away or leave game early. I had tix for the Yankee game the same day as Game 6 so I just gave em to friends.

You can buy some tickets for the Rangers and hop on the subway from Yankee Stadium over to MSG

I've been holding out for a while now to see how far prices drop, but it seems like Stubhub went back up to the $245 range after dipping down to the $220s earlier today. Craigslist is just completely littered with dealers posting their ads, it's been ruined.

I was searching CL yesterday and saw some really good deals. Just not sure whether they were real or not. Seemed way too good to not be a scam. I'm talking $200 per ticket in the 300's and better. I guess I'm too skeptical now. Shame too cause I could be missing out on great deals.
