Completely agree with this. Rushing Schenn wasn't Burke's doing though was it? Didn't he say he would have kept Schenn down for a year?

Jiri Tlusty?

Schenn earned his time.

The team has shown incredible patience with Kadri and Colborne.

The reason Percy isn't sniffing around the NHL team, is because he isn't ready for the NHL. Hell he's not even been playing in the AHL until the final few weeks of the season
Try most everyone pre-Burke. Glad to see people are finally catching on to the method. The Leafs will be miles better off for it.

Article fail.

Look at our 3 1sts that ended up in Stl:
Coliacovo played 2 more junior years, than 2 years in the AHL
Boyes also spent much time in the AHL
Steen I believe spent 3 years in the SEL before coming over

Tlusty is the only prospect of note we rushed

And even then with Tlusty we sent him down to the AHL his first year in north america and then we sent him down again to the OHL, the following year he played in the AHL till mid-season and was tearing it up so who else where they supposed to call up?

Tlusty just didn't have what it took to put everything together at the NHL level, he was too good for the AHL putting up the points he did and in the NHL he was useless.
