Double Decker Bus Ride?

Any info on this?

Pre game ride from MSG to Times Square and back. Looks like fun, want to take kids before game. Is it a sure thing you get on? Do you have to line up early to get on?

Tried to search threads, since I think something was mentioned last year (maybe this year also) but was not successful in search

While I am asking, what about the skate on 7th ave? Worthwhile?

Lets go Rangers!

From an email the Rangers sent me:

Quote:
Starting at 5:30pm TOMORROW in front of MSG on 31st and 7th, join us for Double-Decker Bus Tours through Times Square and back to The Garden for the loudest moving playoff rally in NYC!
That's all the info I have -- but I believe you have to line up in advance to get on.

I did it in the Ottawa series. Was only online like 20 minutes early; they run the buses constantly. It's free, it's fun, you get a towel and when I went Ron Greschner was on one bus and Jeff Beukaboom was on the other.

I've been on the bus before just about every game with NYRFAN218. This round there hasn't been much of a "demand" but with tomorrow being game 7 and a Saturday night I would anticipate the line will start to form very early. Ottawa series the line would start to form around 345ish for a 7pm game.

Thanks. I emailed MSG a while back about getting season tickets in the 400s, but never got a reply. Maybe I should try calling to get a better response.

It will be fairly hard to find upper level seats next year, but I suggest making sure you have filled out this form: http://rangers.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=78427

I would also recommend leaving a deposit.

You shouldnt have a problem getting on, there are 2 buses and they run back and forth a few times. Line will definitely be longer today because its saturday and good weather but I dont ever remember seeing a huge line to get on. I have never ridden it but I always like to see whos in front of the line, theres usually a Rangers alumni on each bus. Usually the typical group you see around the Garden, Greschner, Fotio, Graves, Mullen, Anderson, Gilbert.
Have fun, the kids will probablyl love it
